Welcome one and all to the Pre-User Event Hangout.
Some of you may have heard of the soon to be user event that is on its way. This event is the Feast of Fools. A time for great fun.
We hope to see you all there.

But for now we are setting up this thread to chat while we wait the final week for the event to start. As we finish setting up we would like to hear from you guys.

The Feast of Fools will take place July 9th-15th.

Oh good. I'm glad you like it. :D I was trying to keep them similar, but different for everyone. So as long as everyone likes them, that's good!

Especially users who haven't made threads yet. If I'm watching Fresh Meat properly, it looks like the thread creation bonus is something like 50g! HOLY POOP!

I know. Makes me really happy.

I think I will save all the gold I make, after the 6k I need for one of the threads, till the end of the event and then give it all away to one special person.

I think I'll give some of my proceeds to my charity. The rest.... probably towards my quest for St. Pat's items.

It really depends on how much I make if it all goes to one person or not.
If I get enough I might even treat myself to some art ^^

I hope we have some artists that come in and set up event art shops.

I don't allow myself into the art forums most of the time because I'll order more stuff than I can afford xD

Also, I'm still waiting on art from, like, January. I don't want to order more until those pieces are done.

I know what you mean.

I had art I ordered back last year. If I order from some though if it takes more then three months I pm them to make sure it is still being worked on.

And that is one of the reasons I like event shops. They usually get the art done really fast, and do it cheaper.

I've seen a WIP of one of my orders, it's just waiting to be colored I think.

The other one I haven't heard anything specific, but I did talk to the artist and she says she's still working on it so I'm inclined to believe her (especially since her piece is a bit pricier and I've already set aside the money for it in a trade).
