We were rather productive today and some of yesterday. I do feel that yesterday's time could have been better utilized. However, that day as passed. Nonetheless, here we are, all ready to pick up where we left off.

Sunday seems to be the day of Arr Peas for us. Ho-hum.

Indeed. I mentioned the Brujah Clanbook because the intro is the writer's embrace, not so long ago. It was very well written and I thought it would be a good reference.

Now what's this about ideas?

I know it's HIGHLY unusual, but I would like to do a child vampire character. I would do some research and consult with the inner child(ren) but I think it could be an interesting story arc. I'd like to think I'm a decent writer/role player but I know I could use some improvement.

What are your thoughts and concerns about this?

I'd like to be involved in that, perhaps as the child monster's "parent" ghoul thing. It could be all kinds of drama and conflict. And who doesn't love creepy children?

All vampiric lore demands the immediate execution of all turned children - it has always been expressly forbidden. Having said that, how do you plan to deal with this?

I'm not saying no but I'm not making any promises either. *curious*

*frowns* Hmm. I did not know that. I just thought it would be fun and creepy. I mean I wasn't thinking like toddler or anything, I was thinking between 7 and 12...though I guess that still counts as a child so...I dunno.

Is there any feasible way to do it that you know of or...?

The Sabbat, as a whole, would tear a turned child apart as they are essentially Noddists and in the Camarilla the Prince of the city where the turned child is discovered would call upon them the Scourge.

Side note: We believe the youngest that one can be Embraced is 16 but more commonly 18 and more often than not a mortal is not Embraced under age 21 in the Modern Nights.

Well, that's not really what I had in mind. I'm kind of bummed but I can't change the rules of the game. Oh well. :(

Well, it was an idea. If the rules forbid it then I guess we can't really do much with it. I mean everyone would just kill her so there'd be no point in trying. It sounds to me like no one would want her around, and definitely no one would shelter her for fear of being killed along with her.

Precisely. They would have to have very well hidden havens that they can move between. The only place where this would really be feasible would be in the Anarch Free State. Not sure what else could be done for it.

A Malkavian would shelter them. What wouldn't a Malkavian do?

A Sabbat or Anarch Malkavian, maybe. They're totally off their rocker. If the Sabbat or Camarilla starts breathing down their neck, they can always spout off some prophecy about something.

Also, BD and PR, you should note that Caine expressly forbids the use of the Embrace as punishment and I seem to recall an entire clan infamous for using the Embrace as a form of revenge and punishment. *cough*Nosferatu*cough*

LOL! Is there any sort of way we could do a...free form RP where I could test the role playing waters with a vampire child? Maybe something not based in WoD/V:tM? It's something I would like to try some time.

That's true. But I'd like my little monster to CONTINUE to live. So...recommendations, CZ? Scribbles? I'm all ears.

I like playing in WoD/V:tM because I don't want to have to set up my own lore; it's a painfully long and involved process and the creators of WoD have already done the menial work for us.

"Rules" are broken all the time in the WoD by Kinded of all sects and I don't see why we couldn't play with your turned child but we have to do it with the understanding of Caine's laws and how they affect the vampiric community. It is possible to do this - we just have to think things through.

We've already came to the conclusion that 1. it can be done 2. the story could take place in the Anarch Free State and 3. a Malkavian would shelter them.

Now we have to decide the details of their Embrace, the details of the ghoul's existence and an idea for a plot.

We could help her out with some strategic merits. Specifically, blush of health and bright aura. Just to throw off kindred pursuers.

There's a chance, but I wouldn't give them much credit. I just don't think they would care enough to kill her is all.

Well, as long as they don't care enough to kill her that's all we need for continued existence, right? What about the time period from which she comes? Would she be old or new? If I know a few more things, I can formulate a more cohesive story. Would she have a clan? I don't know much about the Anarchs at all.

She probably wouldn't be Caitiff just because, in order to embrace a child, the sire would have to have some sort of emotional connection to her. TO be willing to break two consecutive rules of progeny, they would need a reason and would want to look out for her afterward. She would still probably be young enough to be staying with her sire.
