Well, CZ. That's a start. Any other thoughts or suggestions? I just need a few ideas to jump from and I should be able to formulate something myself. Feel free to chime in Scribbles. ^___^

Awww. "Je dois apprendre avec vous." There it's in quotes moddy people. ^________________________________^ Hurray for translators. I adore them. But it would be a lot more impressive if I could do it on my own.

We really should be better about engaging Elisa in the RP. She gets left out so much of the time since the focus is on Alexander.

You know, PR, that's really not what the mods mean when they say to put it in quotes.

Oh. Well, I dunno what they wanted. To me it didn't even make sense that they said anything to either of us at all.
So. Ideas for the child's clan. I've kind of ruled out Gangrel and probably Ventrue I think. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Well, we'll get there. If I remember correctly there'll be more focus on her coming both from Grace and Cardea, right? I think it'll even itself out.

This is the kind of quote that they meant.
As far as clan goes, you have lots of options. Gangrel would have been a good one, but Brujah have always been ones to defy the traditions, and the Princes by proxy. Malkavians, or any antittribu would be viable options. Keep in mind that some clans have less antittribu than others.

LOL I totally have!
However, the reason I didn't think Gangrel wouldn't be a good fit is because they're so independant and wild that it didn't seem to me that they'd have any reason to break all those rules and Embrace a child. Brujah...maybe. I was looking at Malkavian, and have been debating why on Earth a Toreador would bother with a young child(beauty aside of course). I just can't think of what other clan would have the motivation/balls to do it, and the power to actually keep the childe alive.

Gangrel are independent, and THEREFORE wouldn't think twice about breaking the traditions. They're not Camarilla and don't fear them.
Toreador antittribu would be all over a child prodigy in a specific field. Not necessarily the field of music, we've got enough of that going around. <_<

Well, I wasn't certain if we were still counting the Gangrel among the Camarilla or not.
So then we've got Gangrel, Brujah, Malkavian, maybe Toreador antittribu. Anyone else?

Hmm, what I've just read about Toreador could actually work. It says that:
" Toreador sires are notoriously faddish, and while the subject of their Embrace can be the most cutting edge, the most innovative, the most beautiful, the most now, they can easily be terribly passe and embarrasing the following week. The sire then inevitably dumps the new childe as soon as is feasible, leaving the young vampire confused and struggling to make their own way. Such is the nature of the Toreador."
Would that work? Or did you have something else in mind CZ? Or you Scribbles? I'm entirely open to suggestions.
----------
I have an idea forming if Toreador is feasible. If not, I kind of have a general idea we could use. I was thinking maybe she was Embraced in an effort to relieve someone's guilt? Or perhaps replace a child they lost(or think they've lost)? Something like that? Feel free to elaborate or work off that idea.

I wouldn't think that would be an option, even for antittribu. Again, the only reason they would Embrace a child is if they had an emotional connection. They would want to stick around. It wouldn't be worth risking your life on something that would be passé next week. Besides, that way she would end up being Caitiff.

A grieving "mother" might be an interesting angle for the original sire. What else we got?

Malkavian. I think a Malkavian having spent too much time at the park watching the families play would suddenly desire a child of their own so they'd kidnap one and Embrace them in order to be a "family" ... forever.
