:P Judge all you want.

In other news, we ordered pizza, breadsticks, and boneless chicken. Hurray for lunch.

Pink Roses 04-01-2011 06:56 PM

You always start a new page before me! >_<

Also, the lady with the kittens didn't get back to me a second time. So, I am making a post for that to see if we can find what we want on our own. I'll let you know.

Scribbled Lore 04-01-2011 07:01 PM

Ugh. I want lunch. x-x

I've been doing some research on Mass Effect 3 since we finished the storyline for Mass Effect 2 last night. Looks like it's supposed to be released in the holiday season of 2011 so we're not going to have to wait terribly long for it.

I have decided that I'm not sure I like this whole "choose your own adventure" aspect to the game; I constantly worry about making the wrong decision and not getting to see all the possibilities. I don't like to replay video games typically so I'm not sure how I want to approach Mass Effect; decisions you make in the first game will affect the THIRD game! Can you believe this?

Black Dahlia 04-01-2011 07:04 PM

That's interesting. That's also how life works. Well, kind of. I dunno that I'm all that into Mass Effect for some of the reasons you cited on DW. *crinkles nose*

If I thought you could get here, I'd totally invite you for lunch. Some extra company would be welcome.

Scribbled Lore 04-01-2011 07:20 PM

Well, I never said I like the way life works either. :XD

I like watching other people play games like Mass Effect because Mass Effect has a compelling story and I like that you can play the main character as a woman. Fem!Shepard is a woman who kicks ass and doesn't take bullshit. She deals fairly with her crew and when she sees something going on that is wrong she fixes the issue. She's good at what she does; she's a skilled soldier, a competent commander and an ethical person.

The game mechanics I don't always like and it's not the sort of game I'd normally play anyways. I'm having to learn a whole new skill set just to be able to play Mass Effect.

For the most part the game designers did a good job; there's just those outliers like the side quest with Samara's daughter.

Pink Roses 04-01-2011 07:29 PM

Well, we're going to go eat our lunch now and watch My Neighbor Totoro. Be back in like an hour.

So. Someone is extra sensitive today. If my voice is raised, if I give him a funny look, or otherwise don't tip toe or whisper, it must be a personal attack. >_>

Scribbled Lore 04-01-2011 10:24 PM

Ahahahah. I cackle.

Pink Roses 04-01-2011 10:29 PM

Oh you got it!

Hurray! It looks good with it, just like I thought it would.

Scribbled Lore 04-01-2011 10:41 PM

w00t w00t

Where's BD? Asleep?

Protagonist 04-01-2011 10:46 PM

Pink Roses 04-01-2011 11:06 PM

OMG Red vs. Blue! *runs to Roosterteeth*

Scribbled Lore 04-01-2011 11:13 PM

I've lost you to the internet videos. :(

Pink Roses 04-02-2011 01:32 AM

Well...you didn't lose me to RvB after all. Freaking...stupid bf keeps downloading torrent crap and forgetting to shut the crap off so the net is going sooooo slooooooow. >_<

Scribbled Lore 04-02-2011 04:58 PM

I'm pretty sure he's not forgetting to shut that crap off. *malicious*

Pink Roses 04-02-2011 07:21 PM

In other, less dire, news, I've gotten into contact with a lady who does a little rescue work with cats and has two preggo kitties that should be due in a few weeks. When the kittens are born,Dahlia and I are going to decide on one. Hurray for kittens!

Scribbled Lore 04-02-2011 07:28 PM

w00t kittens!

Black Dahlia 04-03-2011 02:42 AM

I'm extremely excited about the prospect of a kitten. Future kitten can't be born fast enough!

Scribbled Lore 04-03-2011 04:45 AM

But you'll need a name for the kitten. I suggest.. Kitten.

Pink Roses 04-03-2011 06:50 PM

I don't think we can name a cat/kitten without seeing it first. Even then, we should probably spend some time with him/her before we decide on a name. Names are serious business.

Pink Roses 04-04-2011 01:12 AM

Oh Scribbled Lore! Wherefore art thou, Scribbled Lore? *hand on head staring at ceiling*

Black Dahlia 04-04-2011 01:15 AM

On a less dramatic note, where are you Miss Scribbles? We haven't seen hair nor hide of you. What has befallen you?

Yes, they are -- I like to give my cats people names, and sometimes I think I should wait a little longer to give them a name that better suits their personality. I like giving pets long fancy names -- I had a canary named Benjamin and I have a cat named Marc Anthony...

Pink Roses 04-04-2011 07:57 PM

I give names as if I was naming a human too. So it takes me a bit sometimes. My gerbils are called Alice and Arturo, our dog is named Henry, so our little kitty will have to have a proper name too.

Black Dahlia 04-04-2011 08:00 PM

It's going to take an extra long time since it's going to be OUR kitten(mine and Roses', we're twins btw and we live together). However, it will be a suitable, proper name of some kind. We'll know when we see said kitten.

Pink Roses 04-06-2011 01:15 AM

Well, just stopping in to see if there was anything going on, and to make gold. Also, I'm changing my avatar's look and I may change it again in the near future. So, don't be too sad. Also, Scribbles! *cry* I need help with character ideas!
