I bought a pumpkin on Friday ... I forgot it in my car until yesterday ... the stupid stem rotted off and now that part of the pumpkin keeps getting mold on it! does anybody know what I could do? I can't afford to buy another pumpkin. and it's really humid outside so I'm not sure what to do.

mold is a fungus that appears where something is rotting ... my brain is not functioning enough to give a better explanation ...
but if I cut out the mold spot wouldn't that spread the decay? or do you think it would dry it out? if this pumpkin can't make it 3 more weeks, we aren't going to get to have a jack-o-lantern for Halloween ... |
