ayup, me has a bird. he can be a sort of lech from time to time though. you have no idea how many times he's tried to look at my boobs! or the things he's said about my butt!!

apparently a local dentist is buying candy from kids at $2 a pound ... at first I was all, "what? talk about desperate to keep kids from eating candy! why don't you just hand out toothbrushes like all the other dentists in town?" ... then I read more and it turns out he is buying the candy from kids to send to soldiers overseas! that's pretty cool ... but, is that more expensive than just buying it from the store or not? I'm confused ... |

AH! I read more of the article and thought about it ... this kinda makes more sense.
you don't sell all your candy, just the stuff you got that you didn't like or something ;) plus, apparently last year, a couple of the soldiers who got the candy from this program went and handed it out to the local village kids. which, as a parent of one of those village kids, I don't know how I'd feel about that ... |
