Haha.
Yeah, it's fun learning about computers though.
My CPU heatsink cut my pinky though, and it's more than just razor sharp.
It slit me open and I proceeded to BLEED LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER.
Then my friend is all like "Oh yeah, people have lost fingers on those things before, be careful. <_<"

Ow. :gonk:
That's making me really wary about opening up computers. I'm glad I hadn't went on and dissected my laptop, because if I started bleeding, I'd have nothing but tissues to stop the blood because it was past midnight by then and the doors to the dormitories are locked. :stare:

Your laptop probably didn't have a heatsink as sharp as mine. XD
Mine was a $60 fan, not what you'd find in a laptop.
Considering it's 8x thicker and weighs about 20lbs on it's own.
Here's a pic of someone's Zalman fan
That's what I got, if you can gather the size of it from the photo.

Oh. o__o; Wow. That looks really sharp, definitely not the kind I use. Mine's a pretty standard, and cheap, type.

This one keeps my CPU quite cool, I've ever overclocked to 3.4GHz right now.
I could probably go further, but I don't have a need right now. :3
I have a full tower case too, it's huge.
Like...HUGE.
Two giant fans on it's side, that have blue LED lights too.
EVERYTHING is blue on my computer, black and blue. XD

Wow, I want your computer. XDDD
Mine overheats way too easily. And that extra fan I got to cool it last semester died. Or, it still runs, but makes a huge racket...a 'gak-gak-gak-gak' sound. x__x;

I loves me new computer. <3 *huggles it*
I've also got an extra video card, debating if I should just set it up as a dedicated physx card, or give it away to someone who's less fortunate and can put it to use.
Waiting for that opportunity to arise.

Yeah, you should probably just put it aside for now until you decide what to do with it. ^^
I love my computer too, when it's not lagging on me every time I play a game, or overheats and goes 'boom'. I like the feel of typing on the keyboard. XD

I like being able to play Team Fortress 2 at maximum settings and get a solid 60FPS. :3

Lucky you. I play Oblivion on lowest quality and it's STILL a lagfest. I had to turn all the grass off, and sometimes even the trees/bushes. x__x

I haven't tried Oblivion on my new computer, don't care for it.
Did try Fallout 3, which is EXACTLY THE SAME. Except in a baron wasteland instead.
It played pretty damn well.

I played Oblivion because my brother gave it to me. XD
He's been recommending Fallout 3 to me, but I have a feeling it would totally crash my laptop into oblivion. (pun not intended)
Really want to try it some day though, maybe after I get a new computer and insist that it get a better visual card this time.

I was not impressed by Fallout 3, about as much impressed as I was with Oblivion, which is not a lot.
I did enjoy Assassin's Creed, waiting for my chance to get Assassin's Creed 2 though.

I haven't played a lot of games, mostly thanks to the crappy computer I've got. What's Assassin's Creed like?

It was pretty good, but from what everyone has told me, the second game is a lot better.
A bit repeating in some places though.
But I enjoyed it enough to actually finish it, the same can not be said for a lot of other games.

Is it a first-person RPG? I like those, though I sometimes jump and get near-heartattacks when I get attacked unexpectedly from a blind spot.

No, it's a third person stealth / action based game.
