all right. the hamster cage has been cleaned and new bedding put in. they have had their food dish cleaned and restocked. and the carpet has been vacuumed as hamster poo tends to get all over when I clean the cage ... I must not be very good at it ...

Everything takes practise, but its good that its all clean now :)

well, this cage doesn't have a bottom that comes off ... the roof comes off ... that makes it difficult ... but we just got the cage for Christmas and I only clean it out every 3 or 4 days, so I know I need more practice.

:hug: this time I used toilet paper instead of the bedding I used to have (basically cardboard shavings) and they are enjoying shredding it up. I used to have gerbils years ago and would give them paper towels, but I don't have those and they seem happy enough with the toilet paper ... for now ;)

Ah that's good crazy. I only have a dog, and its a girl but she is a cheeky little bugger. lol

I have had cats, dogs, hamsters, gerbils, various types of fish, turtles, turkeys, chickens, horses, frogs, and pigeons. my friend had a llama but I never got to have one.

Chey has 2 gerbils, a baby male and a grown male that she keeps completely seperate so they can see each other, just not interact since the grown male is very, very aggressive and he's sick right now >.<
