Well, the people on the floats were all drunk guys. And at Mardi Gras guys encourage guys to flash their boobs for beads -_-; So yeah. All it takes is a dash of sexism to ruin the fun.

I think it's pretty much a tradition that the people on the floats are trashed from drinking so much. They'll even dump their beer on the beads before they throw them to you. And the people on the ground are often just as drunk.

*sigh* I wouldn't go if everyone was going to be drunk! I wouldn't be surprised if some of them drove home drunk. -_-;;

Well, not everyone is drunk, but as I said it's a big excuse to party and for most people parties mean getting blitzed on alcohol. Personally, it's not my idea of a good time but you can still have fun at parades with all the beads and the festival atmosphere. But it was more fun when I was younger. Now I'm a bit jaded.

Well, some alcohol is okay at parties, but getting drunk and doing stupid crap can ruin parties. What those guys did wasn't very nice and they ruined it for you and probably other people. They are classic Party poopers.

Yeah, well, that's the tradition. So that's why I don't go out for parades much any more. I would have gone to a small one on Sunday, but I have a flat tire on my car ;_; I'm stuck here puppy sitting.

It's only a tradition on Bourbon Street... which is like the Red Light District... Everywhere else it's family friendly.

Oh no. Drunken revelry is the order of the day everywhere. Sure, people bring their kids, but they also bring an ice chest full of booze and indulge in many daiquiris. I'm not saying that everybody does this, but it is a holiday that is soaked in much booze.

booze = drunk people. drunk people + parades = party poopers. xD well it may be fun for some people. as long as the drunk people don't get into fights or star doing the things cookie said they did in the last parade they're not so bad. xD

Don't dunk them in your coffee. That'll wake them up. I want the little one to stay asleep as long as possible. If he wakes up, he'll pee on my bed. He's already starting to roll around, making me nervous!...Oh noes! He's awake! He tried to snuggle with Niku, but she didn't want to snuggle and ran away XD

Drunk people usually just stumble around. I mean, they're getting drunk to have fun even if it makes them act stupid.

Well, as long as there not bothering everyone I think there fine..but they shouldn't drive.

Puppies are not for eating. Even though the little one is tiny and might fit easily in your mouth....ok, not really. He's tiny, but not that tiny. Now he's alone on the bed because Niku jumped off after his failed attempt to snuggle her. She's used to him nipping at her.

xD I hope they don't do there doggy business on the floor! I would nibble on there feet if you would let me...;___;

I set the camera up to make sure the baby didn't pee on my bed. >_> As long as I can watch him, I can get him before he wakes up and tries to relieve his tiny bladder on my sheets.

Oh yeah. I didn't have to stream it, but I thought I could bug my friends and make them watch :twisted: I could have just put the camera up and watched the small window on the side of the screen to watch, which is what I'm doing while I'm doing other stuff.
