you should teach your dog the "enough" command or "down" ... I had a dog that I played with all the time but he had a hard time realizing the boundaries and would play rougher and rougher. I finally figured out if I say "OW!" kinda loud he'd immediately stop and whine and want to know where I was hurt. he was such a good boy.

I wouldn't be able to sleep with cats in my room, I would scratch my own eyes out and trying to catch my nose x3

4 months isn't much, but those dogs are pretty strong aren't they?^^

We've been trying to teach him what's okay and what's not. He's learning slowly. Before he used to bite our hands and our feet. But we kept working with him about it, so now he doesn't do it anymore.

4 Months may not be much yet, but he is strong.

Those are strong dogs. Puppies are energetic so I guess sometimes you need some patience with them^^

I have pet rats myself. I've been teaching the oldest to spin around when I hold up a treat xD

yeah, pitties get real strong real fast. that is why you have to be aware of it and start their training early.

Karen also has a bit of an under-bite. she's so weird :XD

I don't know what I would do if I were allergic to cats. I'd probably go get shots and stuff. Our kitties have always slept with us in our beds.

I was pretty sad when I realized my allergy towards cats. I cannot really afford shots or pills against allergy at the moment, but I'm not allowed to have cats in my apartment, so one day I'll get a house with cats and dogs xD

This is my first time owning a pitt. >.<

I used to have a small dog, but he ran away.. He was my first dog ever. Then a friend of my mom gave us a free puppy who we named Chloe. But she and the rest of the litter ended up dying. The lady who gave us the puppy told us that the litter came sick. We only had her for a couple of weeks.

I think there has been some discussion here, where they wanted to make dogs like pitbulls illegal :(

Well we need a license to have a pitt bull in our home, so I'm guessing the training would come with it. But we're training him on our own with a little help from my cousin. She's had pitt's before and knows how to train them.

Asuki that is so unfair its not the dogs fault that people abuse them and train them to fight...ugh I hate people who blame the breed and not the owners...I mean you don't see a well trained rottweiler attack anything that moves


well in Ohio to get the license you need a background check and a like two hour info/training session on how to deal with your pittbull if it freaks

I know it's unfair. It's not the dogs but the owners who should be illegal. My sister got bit by a little sausage dog thing(can't remember what it's called xD), when she was younger. Some people really shouldn't be allowed to have pets.

thats probably the reason or they let the kids train them which no matter what intention the kid has sometimes they are just too mean

I have a friend who has the meanest Pomeranian. He's adorable, but extremely aggressive. It took him a long time for him to stop barking at me when I first went over to her house. He still growls, but a little less mean. He's like with everyone. >.>

my dog is a herder and so she use to be really aggressive when she didn't know if I was her herd or her owner but now that we got that hashed out she can meet people(as long as they are sitting down)

I think dogs will be dogs, no matter which size, it is therefore important to treat them as dogs.

My cousin has the cutest little dog, very attention seeking, but not aggresive^^

Yeah, I agree.

My mom didn't want to get Tobi, because she kept saying how bad pitts were. I told her, well both my dad and I told her, that any dog can be aggressive. It depends on the owner and how they train their dogs. Pitts can be the most sweetest, loving dogs out there if trained properly.

And they are very cute^^
