My new computer is already showing it's age (Going on it's first year in a few months)
I wish I had the money to spend on getting upgrades/building another.

@Ole - Cool! The same friend that bought me the computer bought my other friend a ps3 and a tv to play it on! She's super nice, but I worry about her niceness being taken advantage of D:
@Rad - You just got that thing! And wasn't it broken upon arrival or something?

"Just got it" Like half a year ago! Computers get old fast! D:
Also yes, it had a mishap during shipping.
2GB of RAM got bonked by the heatsink which came off and hurled itself across the motherboard, which also got damaged.
So I had to remove 2GB of RAM (Leaving 2GB) and replace the Mobo, cause it would have cost just as much to ship out the old one to MSI for fixing/replacing.
Since then I did buy a new set of 4GB of RAM (Better quality for that matter)
I also put the extra nVidia 9800 GTX in as a dedicated PhysX card, but it's not really showing it's worth and just makin' the other video card hotter than it should get by itself. So considering removing it sometime, but it's too much of a pain.

She was on Mene for a while, but she got absorbed into the gaming website we do. That's her life now. ^_^;;
@Rad - Computers get old fast, but it should still have great performance if you bought a great machine! If you need to update it every 6 months, then maybe you need to plan your purchases better? I dunno, that sounds a bit much. I can think of very few reasons that you'd need to update so fast.

I probably should have tried for a gaming PC, considering that what she wanted me to use it for was gaming, but since it was a gift I didn't feel like I had the right to request stuff yanno. As it was, she sent me her old graphics card to give it a boost.

It's a gaming/work PC
Yes, it need to update often to keep up with changes.
DX11 is more common now, and I'm still on a DX10 GPU.
I still have a dinky little 60Hz 720p monitor, it'd be more typical for gaming (and especially art) to have a 1080p monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate. (2ms response would be awesome too)
Like I said, showing it's age and starting to have issues playing newer games on fuller settings. (I don't like playing without at least 4x MSAA)

I'm soooo glad I'm not a hardcore gamer. I like playing games and I like having a fact computer, but I don't care that my monitor is old and small and my computer is standard out of the box with an old video card. It works and that's what counts. I'm the same way about cars. Makes me a cheap date XD

Haha.
Well I've got myself swept up into the whole computers are my life thing, so the better my computers, the better my life is. (And less of a hassle to boot)
I would like to upgrade my GPU to one of the new GTX 600 series that are coming out, of course that's a $700+ card right there
But from what I hear, it's a major boost from the previous series.
I also want a bigger and better SSD, I love my SSD, I really do. But 64GB is a pain to manage...
