I imagine though my son will spend most of the time trying to play with my friends oldest son while her little one lags back to play in the sand which my son will also want to do and gripe at the little one for building near him or messing his up or something.

Little fights over sand are always fixed by a line between them we at least that is how I solve them

new, I'm not worried. he's actually become a pretty good swimmer. not as good as me, but pretty darn good. mostly I used the life jacket to be able to spot him better when I'm laying out.
