I know it! It'd be so nice if they remade the anime series to follow the manga from the beginning, but I don't think that's gonna happen anytime soon.

Well the thing is they made it to be a kids show and there quite a few things in the manga that aren't exactly kid friendly. I would love to see it on Adult Swim though!

Oh yeah! I think there's a few VAs that are gone now, so they might have to find new VAs for those characters.
But for the most part, they could keep the same voices for the characters.

4kids may have been screwy with the anime itself, but they DID get great VAs for the characters in the English version.

If they did make it I would be really sad if they had to recast the voices. i would understand if they had prior commitments or something but I'd still be put out.

Me either! I've been watching the original anime of full metal alchemist. I always heard that the first season was pretty much the same as the manga, but there's actually quite a few differences already.

I know it. The original anime for FMA is pretty darn good, but I prefer Brotherhood...though I wish they could've kept Aaron Dismuke as Alphonse.

I just got through the first season. It's definitely a bit more melodramatic at times, but I think that was what was in style, partly.

Still, doesn't stop it from being goooood. When you're done with the first FMA anime, I suggest watching the Conquerer of Shamballa movie. It's really good!

I think I actually caught part of it. I'll definitely see it if I can, probably this summer after classes.

I'm not sure when they'll start playing it again, though. I DO know that they're showing Sherlock late at night, which makes me a happy girl. ^^
