Love is not a conquest, and I would say many loves have changed the world to what it is today. War might be the most common way to change the world, but it is not the only way. |
Love is an emotion of war. You fight, you struggle, then finally, you conquer and rejoice. You fight to make your feelings known, you struggle with how it affects your life. Then, either immediately or through a period of time, you finally win their heart, and rejoice knowing that you have someone you can connect with.
Also, by the love of your country, you'd be willing to commit horrible atrocities to defend it. |
Not all love is fighting. You can love someone without fighting to make it known. Loving a friend, a child, a parent, a pet.
Love of one's country is something I will never understand. |
