People who do drag may be straight, bisexual or homosexual. You don't have to be gay to do drag- for most people, its a performance, its a way to make money and they may not dress that way in public, especially if we are talking about drag queens.

Well unfortunately, the drag queens get most of the money. Most of the time drag kings have to be in competitions in HOPES for money. But if what someone wants is attention from their preferred sex(es), then being a drag performer is a great way to get it.
