woohoo! page one hundred ninety-five! |
we are only 5 pages until one of you lucky posters win, good luck to you all! :D if i had the gold i would give you all 1000... but we will have to settle at one person XD
if i win Jake, you can give ten people on that page one hundred gold each. |
Hummy: wait... what?... really o.o.... but what about you?
oh, i would be one of the ten. *blushes* i like to share and a lot of people post more when there are prizes dangling. plus i am really lucky with being a first poster. or, you can change it to a random number thingie. does it seem to you like it has taken us a long time to move the pages lately or is it just me? |
Hummy: well... ok then... i will see :P
it has accualy been very fast, we went from like page 150-195 in about 1-2 weeks :O |
it must just seem slow to me then. or it might be because i am usually here with one other person only. |
Hey guys! How is everyone?
*peeks in*
Hey Kirin! How are you today?
Still sick.
Awwww :( Sick is bad. I'm sorry.
Yeah got a nasty cold that started on Wednesday evening.
Oh wow. I know the last time I got sick I was bedridden for two weeks. I didn't call off work then, but I should have. I had such a short fuse with the Assistant Manager those days. Of course, it didn't help that she was extremely racist and hated me for the color of my skin no matter how well I worked. Thank goodness the General Manager liked me, that saved my hide more than a couple times.
That sucks. It's so hard to work when you don't like the people you work with, and whne hey don't like you.
Yeah. I don't know why she didn't like me aside from me being white. I'm really easy to get along with at work, not at other times, though. lol
Last year there was a little black girl in the class my mom, who is white worked in. She hated all white people, except my mom. She loved my mom.
I hate racism, it makes no sense. You can't blame an entire race for the actions of one person. If one person is a terrible person, that doesn't mean all people of their color are.
My first real experience with racism was in seventh grade. If you want to hear the story I can tell you. If not it's alright. It's up to you.
I would love to hear the story :D My first experience with it was with that Assistant Manager.
My best friend in seventh grade was black, I am white. There was this white kid who picked on us for being friends because of us being different races. My friend wanted beat him up. I told her she shouldn't do that cause then she would get in trouble and that I would handle it. I made an appointment to talk to the principal, who is black. I went home that night and told my parents what had been happening. My mom asked if I wanted her to talk to the principal. I told her no that I had already had an appointment to talk to the principal. After that it stopped happening.
That's good that the principal did something about it. Teachers and school faculty don't always do something about things like that. When I was in sixth grade some mean girls shoved me into the wall, which was brick. I ended up with scratches all over. At least three teachers saw and none did anything about it. When the counselor stepped in, I got in trouble, too for fighting. Because having my ass kicked is totally the same thing as fighting them.
racism is such a waste of energy. i like a big box of crayolas. all the colors of the rainbow make life pretty. |
