Well I'm sure that's why people want it, for the "realistic" approach. It's cute in it's own way. :P I want it. I love dragons, but I'm sure that it would cost a fortune.
Also, fi you guys like anime, I have a cool site that you might like it's; www/narutowire.com They have a huge selectiona nd you can usually find dubbed or subbed titles, whichever you prefer ^^

I don't think I got too much into that one. I did watch Yu-gi-oh for a while and had one of the games. I remember I had an epic battle with one of the bosses and got down to one HP. There was only one way to win and that was if I drew out my ultimate card, and the next turn, I drew it out and took him from full health to nothing. And I still remember that XD

Car'a'Carn: , you know with running you have to start slow. And by the way, welcome! And yeah.. you totally got me... completely scared that time :P
Motivation. Hmm. You gotta keep thinking about your goals, whatever they might be (lean runners body, doing a marathon or just keeping up with a pretty girl who likes to run :XD ) and think about them before you start your hink about them while you stretch and imagine how good it will be to reach your goals!
Have music. Running without music only works for like 1 out of 50,000 people. Those who go early morning and like to hear nature sounds, other than that, have some good, high tempo music that makes you want to move.
Also, a cup of coffee before you run might also get you into the mood to run. When running, remember that it's a cardio exercise! So you want your heartrate to be in about the 70-80% max range for your age. Here is a nifty chart for you that also has the rates for beginners, intermediate and expert cardio exercisersersers.
Another thing you can do is sign up for one of those fun 5k runs like the ones at Warrior Dash | Home or 5K Obstacle Course Zombie Race - Run For Your Lives You do have to pay for them but they are fun so you don't really think about all the running you are doing :D

Well this was supposed to get posted last night but I found a goat with it's leg caught between the wall support and the sheet metal wall last night and it got a gash on it's leg I had to clean out. So I didn't get to it  But I'm back now!

Well I've been doing it for a few years now but I stop doing it for such long periods thoughout the year that I've never gotten past a 5 mile run :/ and I've only gone that far twice.
My main goal is exercise but I wouldn't mind a lean runners body either :P And I'm also trying to make it a goal to do it everyday! But that's when my motivation fails  I get out there every day for a week or two, then It's like I make it barely twice a week after that >.<
I do have music! I have this one song that plays in a perfect techno loop that has a really nice consistant beat that really helps me keep a good pace. I don't always listen to music but I do notice it helps me go a bit further sometimes.
A cup of coffee is a great idea! And I also had never considered what my heartrate was while jogging so I tried it out after a mile yesterday and was at about 180bpm give or take a beat and the same after 2 miles. That's good right? *is turning 25 in two weeks*
So as for jogging in the morning... I feel like that would be better for me to do cause I've heard it gets you energized for the day and not to mention I wouldn't have to take an hour out of my afternoon, but... I love waking up early about as much as a vampire loves the sunshine  (excluding the glittery kind ) I guess that's just a matter of discipline though, of which I have non
Also, I looked at those races you sent me. You're trying to kill me aren't you? But they do look fun :XD lol! I only ever did one group event at my college where you ran up all the stairs at school which was located on a hill >.< Hurt. I might try and make it to one!

The runs are really really fun and they get you motivated just being there around all those other people who are also running for their lives or running to be a warrior. That's something. You are also more likely to stick with a routine if you are doing it with someone. Less likely to drop out or skip days because you have someone there to push you and in turn you push them on the days that they don't want to. Find yourself a run-buddy!
180 BPM is good, it's good to keep at that rate. You might try getting some new/new-er shoes. New shoes make you want to use them. To break them in. TO see how they feel on the trail.
Music is good yes, and it IS best to wake up in the morning and do it. It really does energize you. While you are up and doing it, you don't want to, like, you could loathe it, but then when it's over you are PUMPED FOR THE DAY! HOOAH! I used to get up at 3 am to work out 2 hours a day, until I figured out how to turn off my alarm clock while I was sleeping. Then it was sa lot harder to get up.
Try the morning thing. Also... one of those "metabolism boosting" things like stacker will make you WANT to run. It was my secret weapon for waking up early in the morning.
It takes me a while to actually WAKE up. I could lay there forever, not sleeping but not UP either. I'd take a stacker when my alarm went off and lay there until the caffeine kicked in and I couldn't stand it to lay there anymore. Then 1 hour of cardio and 1 hour of lifting. You might be better at waking up than me though. I think I'm the worst.
Just this morning I layed in bed 2 hours after waking up... just didn't want to get out of bed. Maybe because we're doing Arm and Shoulder (I think) P90X today. *le sigh*

I'm finally back! Sorry It took so long!
They do look fun, and they have one in portland later this year! :P or that general area of Oregon anyways. I really do need to find a run-buddy! I have no idea where to look but I need to find one >.<;
I got some nicer trail running type shoes earlier last year but I'd like to get some road shoes too.
OK! New goal then! Wake up early (I can't believe I just said that >.<) And go for a jog! I could use a little more pep in my step during the start of a day  wait what? 3AM?! Are you serious?! :o What time did you go to bed?? I mean I was up till 3 am over the weekend! :o hahaha!
Stacker? What's Stacker?
Oh my! I think you are worse at getting out of bed than me  But when it comes to actually waking up I think I've got you licked! I had to get an alarm with a super loud piercing siren + a vibrating bed shaker just to wake me up :XD I'm so bad
Oh P90X I think I've heard of those! Those are those crazy tough work out videos right?
Ok so... If I don't come in here to say good morning at 7 tomorrow (PST ) Then you can leave a very rude message on my profile!
