Ahaha.. sorry but that is just too cute Liv. I think the way that I told my mom was over the phone cause I was in Italy. I talked for like an hour adn then just as my phone was about to die I slipped it in. Still scared to tell her, well I was only 19. She called right back of course. :P

Oh, wow! Haha! Was she ok with it? How did she take the news?

I ended up just letting it slip at Thanksgiving, when giving what we were thankful for. We got a lot of double takes. *laughs* Mum was like "Wait... Olivia Lilly.... What was that you just said?"

And mum wouldn't let me out of her sight after that. :XD

Ha! She was surprised. Prolly a little disappointed or something at first, who knows. But she was definitely happy when I came back to the states to have my daughter. And she was born on my mother's birthday so, it was like an extra gift.

Oh wow! I bet you did get a lot of looks! I know that would have surprised the heck outa me for sure! By next Thanksgiving you'll have the little one with you, eating... mashed potatoes... maybe

Awe! That's great though that she supported you, and awe! What a perfect gift.

The way that I said it was something like "I'm thankful for my family, and my husband, as well as the time that I got to spend with Oliver, and also for our unborn child." and just left it at that. *giggles* :squee: I totally can't wait!

I know right. I told her that she better not ask for anything else, ever again. Cause she got a granddaughter and who could ever want more than that? ^^

Oh man. I now the best part after my daughter was born was the feeling of not having to pee every 5 minutes. Holding her afterwards I was like, I don't think that I have had to pee all day XD

Totally good point there. My mum has been on all our cases about giving her grand children, *laughs* she kept on going "I'm not getting any younger..." Geez mum! Patience! :P

Seems like mothers always say that AS SOON AS you get into a stable relationship. LIke... go ahead.. start popping them out already!

Easty... torchwood? In the USA? HA! I bet they took all the gayness out of it. Cause that's not so.. accepted here :/ Dumb but it's not. :/

Oh, exactly! At first it was "Mum, I can't! I'm finishing school first." Because I was still in school, and then after we got married it was that we wanted to spend time just the two of us, and graduate, I did last May.... YAY! Lol. Of course knowing my husband he would have wanted us to try for a kid asap! *laughs* She even was getting on Oliver's case about having a kid, but yeah... *sigh* I do know that he and his partner wanted to try to adopt if possible, but things didn't go that way, sadly.

LOL. I don't think that I'll be like that with my daughter but then again I guess you never know til you get there. I was the first grandchild and I had the first great-grandchild. Heh. I guess we kinda have kids young in my family cause my grammy is only 60something. I forget. Maybe 65? :S I think that boys get it worse though. Cause it's kinda easier for them. They just gotta be there, sorta. And wait 9 months. lol.

----------

So then what exactly are they doing to it that's so wrong? *eyebrow raise*

Yeah I know. My mom was 21 when she had me and I was 20 when I had Amina. So..... yep. I was almost 21 though! And back in the day in America they wanted a lot of kids. So they started early. I'm not sure how old my grammy was when she had her first but my mom is almost... 48... her sister is like 2 or 3 years older than her... so... about 20-ish for her first kid. And my grammy was pregnant 9 times, only had 5 kids though.

Yeah, ya do have quite a bit of time left to go. My mum had my elder brother at 21, and then my brother and I at 23, and my sister at 29 (our lil baby sis). Lol! So the fact that I waited till I was 24 to get pregnant with my first is just whacky to her. XD Exactly! I told him... "Hun, you've got the easy part. I'll let you know when I'm ready and we're waiting." He tried pouting, but it didn't work. *laughs*
