*tacklehugs Bearzy*
I havent even LOOKED at the event yet! :( SO much stuff to be doing, hell, i shouldnt be on here even! >_<' But, i had to eat a whole bag of chippies. It was for their own good though. See, i bought the bag at the shops, and when i got home, i realised it had a hole in it and theyd end up going stale, so i checked them to see if they were, and they werent, so i figured id eat them before they did, and then they wouldnt be wasted! I had to do it! :P |
Ling will now check every bag of chips for holes before purchasing. Having said that, that has never happened to me before.
Bearzy II! *flails under tacklehug*
And I agree, it was totally important that those chippies were saved from staledom. |
Indeed! Now I feel like eating chips. [drool]
Chiiips. I had some earlier, and we had fish and chips for tea last night. I love chips like Rose Tyler loves chips. [lol]

I will have a look tonight when i get home Woodster, i swears! Ive got a friends bday party on tonight at some chocolate restaurant here. Everything is chocolate stuffs at the place i think. Depending when we get home, I might have time to look around. Ive gotta sketch up a pic for a friend that im airbrushing some time soon, as in today or tonight. Hopefully i get time to try painting it one night this week after work. Just bummed i havent managed to get around to it earlier, im keen to try it, but work and gym and more work and girlfriend means little spare time now! :( |
Hold on, wait a minute... CHOCOLATE RESTAURANT?
Yah, tell us more about that whole chocolate restaurant thing. [drool]
And that's legit. Life takes precedent sometimes ;) We need to see some of these arts you do!! :D |
Yeah, its a place that does lots of sweet type things, chocolate dishes being their speciality.
My GF had these awesome chocolate covered sweet waffles with walnuts or something like that on them, and covered in liquid chocolate. They were awesome! I had these things called 'Churros' or something. Theyre like a straight doughnut thingy with sugar on them. They werent very good sadly, but my mate got this thing called the 'bliss' or some such, and it was waffle, honey, chocolate fudge stuff, some churros, a bit of banana and some strawberries etc etc. Their dishes looked really good! |
Yah! churros are a spanish treat that are served with cin/sugar on them and eaten plain (mexican version) or dipped in a reaaaally thick variation of hot chocolate (in spain)
aka yumm! That sounds awesome man! I had my fill of treats making 70 or so cake pops the other day for my niece's party. I got so sick of the smell of the chocolate though, it gave me a headache >.< |
Poor baby. I just finished a month long chocolate fast. Celebrating with chocolate. XD
I'm not the poor baby! You are. That's quite a long time sans chocolate!
It was a test. I passed! Now that I have proved I can do it, I can go back to my chocoholic ways.
I had churros today, they were good, I had them with the thick chocolate sauce.
Omnom! I haven't had a churro in a long time. The camp I used to work at made them on occasion.
I don't know that I've ever seen a churro....
I was wrong! I have seen churros! I just didn't know what they were called.
I can't believe the last thing we talked about in this thread was churros....
Why? I make a habit of talking about food everywhere I go!
It's true. I talk about food a lot too cause I cook a lot. Bad habit cause when you're really hungry, I'm the last person you'll want around. I make it worse ;)
Me too... I work in a supermarket as well, so I tend to be all like "Did you try Cadbury's new flavour?"
I just got back from 4 days in Melbourne with my GF. Guess what we had, pretty much EVERY day we were there?
You guessed it. Churros! They were the fucking bomb diggity! Salted Cremebrule, Black Forest (chocolate coating, chocolate sprinkles, and sweet jam center!), Nutella and nut, Strawberry Paradise (white chocolate coating, tart strawberry jam center and sprinkles) and another one that i cant recall what it was called, but had peanut butter in the middle, chocolate on the outside and nuts too. Those things were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO freaking good! [drool] On top of that, we had this amazing BBQ lamb pizza one night. Infact, rather than trying to remember all the delicious foodz i was eatering there, im just going to say that Melbourne CBD has some of the BEST food ive had in my life! While i was there too, we rented a car, because the whole reason we went was because a school acquaintance of hers was getting married. Anyway, got this car, and I wasnt expecting much, but i was freaking impressed! I thought the auto would shit me, but it was great for just crawling around in the city where i wasnt sure where i was going etc. And then out on the country roads coming back from the wedding, gave it a bit of a boot a couple of times and nearly had un-wedge my ass from the seat afterwards. For a Sports V6, it goes hard when you put the tiptronic gear selection on! up to 160kph VERY quickly! Lots of fun with it. And the hotel we stayed at, I got a deal so the rooms were reasonably cheaper than usual and we had free valet parking. I could get used to that, it was AWESOME! Rock up, give my ticket to the concierge and a couple of minutes later, my car rocks up! The place was REALLY nice too, from the 1900's and colonial times but it had just finished being refurbished, so looked MINT! The staff were excellent, the place was beatiful, and it was clean and smelt good. The room was fairly small, but we werent there to stay in our room, it had the basics we needed and some nice stuff, and that was it. Very impressed with it all though, bloody nice! |
Melbourne CBD does have some downright amazing food.
