Wow, those churros sure come in loads of tempting varieties!

I've been to Melbourne three times in my life, and each time I've either eaten parents' friends home cooked meals, or Asian food in the areas like Footscray or Springvale. That's what happens when you go with parents who go visit their friends and stuff I suppose.

If all goes to plan I hope to go at the end of this year as well with my friends. Hopefully then I might have a chance to try some of this amazing Melbourne CBD cuisine.

LingLing! *tacklehugs*

I cannot stress enough, go to the CBD, plan for nothing, just wander. There are some totally amazing little places that just beg your attention! We spent all sunday doing just that. Wandered around, no plans, and just looked at stuff and went where ever our interest took us.

Ling 10-22-2012 10:05 AM

Sounds awesome...hopefully we'll have time to do that. :)

Drop Bear 10-22-2012 10:09 AM

Tntk_2 is right though, amazing food in that area! It really is worth checking out. There were some nice looking asian type establishments that we walked past too, theres heaps of variety!

Ling 10-22-2012 10:16 AM

The only Asian places I remember are the many Breadtop bakeries I saw while in Melbourne and that's not that interesting for me since there's Breadtop in Adelaide too.

Under Crown. There is so much asian food there, it's ridiculous. Went there for lunch one day when setting up the Boat Show. I actually ate everything I orderd, which says something about how good it was.

Ling 10-22-2012 10:59 AM

Crown is the casino right?

Sleepy Anarchy 10-22-2012 11:05 AM

Yeah.

Ling 10-22-2012 11:10 AM

Ah I see, I remember going there last time I was there, it was at night and we were dropped off there after a tour of the Great Ocean Road.

*acts like I know what everyone is talking about*

Bearzy 10-24-2012 04:45 AM

I just figured I'd rejoin the conversation next time someone mentioned cake. At least then I could have some input. And it was only a matter of time really.

Woodlandnymph 10-24-2012 04:47 AM

Hey hey Beary!!! How're you? Nice 10th Doctor cosplay :D

Bearzy 10-24-2012 04:53 AM

I'm good, and thank you, thank you very much.

Woodlandnymph 10-24-2012 04:58 AM

I'm rocking a lady version of 11 for Halloween. I'd do 10 (<3 David<3) but, 11 was a bit easier since with what I've been finding

Bearzy 10-24-2012 08:59 AM

Haha, awesome. My favourite is nine, but his outfit doesn't stand out quite as much.

Drop Bear 10-24-2012 12:26 PM

I saw a sticker on a blue car today that said 'My other vehicle is a tardis!'

It gave me a giggle!

Woodlandnymph 10-24-2012 03:54 PM

Yes! I've seen that sticker :D

I think the coolest car I saw was blue (not tardis blue sadly) and the license said TARD1S

Bearzy 10-24-2012 08:15 PM

Yeah, nobody in my town is cool enough for that, unfortunately.

Woodlandnymph 10-24-2012 10:51 PM

The cool ones are usually few and far between ;)

Bearzy 10-25-2012 04:23 AM

They are! It's sad!

Woodlandnymph 10-25-2012 05:00 AM

Honestly, I don't know anyone in my town, cause we moved here after I was in high school and all that. I don't think it's a big loss ;)

Bearzy 10-25-2012 06:32 AM

Kinda sad really. I know most people in my town, because I work in a supermarket. Fun times. Fun times.

Woodlandnymph 10-25-2012 07:28 PM

That'll do it! So don't have any intrigues, cause everaaaaaayone will know your business ;)

Bearzy 10-25-2012 10:50 PM

That's the one! But my life happens on the internet, and people from my town often say things to me like "I don't have a laptop, wouldn't know how to work it." Or "So, for this tee ex tee club, do you need a cellphone?" So I think I'll survive.

Woodlandnymph 10-26-2012 01:57 AM

Hahaha. Nice. I don't think that's a similar thing in my town. I'm sure even the 5 year olds are running around with cellphones >.< A bit overboard.

So, doing anything for Halloween?
