It was always Celsius that threw me

I'm not surprised, here's the formula for Fahrenheit to Celsius: (F-32)x5/9=C

Pretty self explanatory reason why it throws people off, really.

I never did understand how anyone who wouldn't use it often could remember it.

Bearzy 10-28-2012 07:27 AM

What the shit do you call that? I just use an online converter.

Farenwatsit is complete gobbledygook to me. 0*C is the temperature at which water freezes, then it becomes negatives. above that is positives. It makes sense, as does the vast majority of the metric system as far as im concerned! But i dont get why 32*F is freezing point for you lot? Where is your 0*F point and why is THAT 0*F?

I unno, im just a spanner maybe? [:P]

Bearzy 10-28-2012 09:01 AM

I'm with the other Bearzy!

Drop Bear 10-29-2012 01:24 AM

Ohai everyone.

Ling 10-29-2012 10:57 AM

Haha, I used to use that formula when I was in primary school, which was before internet on PCs at home was a common thing.

Drop Bear 10-30-2012 07:37 AM

OfeliaLaroose 10-31-2012 09:34 AM

Ling 10-31-2012 05:41 PM

Awww...everyone has muscles, otherwise you wouldn't be able to move. :)

Bearzy 11-01-2012 08:16 PM

Yay! And logic intervenes!

Ling 11-01-2012 08:32 PM

Indeed it does, yay!

Drop Bear 11-04-2012 05:15 AM

[t2h] I reject your logic and replace it with my own fantasy!

Ling 11-04-2012 05:44 AM

But my logic was supposed to make you feel better about...um...supposed lack of muscle. How dare you replace it with your depressing fantasy! [:P]

OfeliaLaroose 11-04-2012 05:45 AM

drop's avi scares me a little.

Ling 11-04-2012 05:47 AM

I think that's typical of Drop Bear, as far as avatar style.
