It's my fault you're lagging, droppykins! [lol] sorry... i'm not sorry! mwahahaha! i'll join you on a feral weekend soon enough, mate! (it feels really funny saying 'mate' [rofl] )
|
I feel like I might have seen Malice in Wonderland... hmm.
Just you try camping here Droopy. You'd freeze more than your knickers off. |
I love Woody's avatar, looks like she's having a fun food fight in a bakery. [yes]
I haven't heard of Malice in Wonderland...slightly curious now. |

Well danke, Ling! I'm that serious holiday baker. I put my game face on, get in the zone, and pump out ze cookies!!!
**REALITY** Me prancing about the kitchen listening to holiday tunes, twirling around and spreading love and sprinkles everywhere. No problem Malisyn! Or Mali....hmmmm a good shortened name... Melee (only if you run in, sword a'swinging). |
Hehe, I'm glad danke is one of those German words I know. By the way, your reality sounds a little trippy...fun though [:D]
|
Haha. Thanks again Ling. It's trippy maybe, but it's also pretty accurate to how I do things in the kitchen. If I'm alone and baking I crank the tunes and twirl away!
|
Interestingly enough if I'm cooking or baking in the kitchen I stay focussed on finishing the prep and other tasks...it's one of those few activities that I don't get distracted with.
Cleaning on the other hand...music, and getting distracted by things I find, especially if I'm tidying stuff...its like 'ooh, I forgot about this!' [lol] |
I get more distracted by people in my kitchen. I get in the zone all alone, even if it involves some twirling and belting out showtunes.

Mali High! Like in South Pacific...well. Bali High. ;)
I like it, yah. It's cuter than the honorific I was given my first day by Linnea: of Woody. ;) Just kidding Linny! I kinda love being called Woody. |
Are you referring to the musical, Woody?
By the by, Woody is much shorter to type out so I automatically like it. [lol] Is that the only moniker you've accumulated during your time here in Menewsha? |

When I think of Woody my first thought is of the Toy Story character...
|
When I type Woody I'm also saying it aloud in two parts, like this:
WOO DEE Sometimes I leave my mouth open at the end too. [eager] [glomp] |
Yes Mali. South Pacific. I saw that live once...Man. I love "Nothing like a Dame" but other than that there aren't too many stand out numbers.
Other monikers? Hmmm. Woodster....Nypmh....I guess I kinda answer to whatever people will call me. ;) ** Linny, my inner pervert is always showing. Obviously, I love hanging out with you! ** Heh. That's why my Quest thread is all Toy Storied out Ling. ;) ** Hehehe. And I say yours as Bell-ehh. <3.... Oh, it helps if you keep your mouth open and drool a bit too after saying my name. |
I always thought it was funny when people said to call them whatever they want as long as it's not late for supper. Must be some sort of old saying and I don't suppose people say 'supper' much anymore anyways.

Oh man, HELL of a weekend! Massive bender on friday night... went to sleep as the sun was coming up saturday morning... woke up nearly under my car (slept next to it in my swag) and was up and still drunk I swear! Hell of a good night shooting, blowing stuff up in the fire, chasing roo's in the paddock basher and drinking!
Whats people planning to do for xmas, by the way? |
I plan to go to a Christmas BBQ party my friends are having at their place. Should be a good chance to catch up with them. [:)]
|
Headed to my parents across the mountains for christmas. Gonna see my best friend while I'm there, haven't seen her in yonks.
|
Ha! That sounds like quite the party Droopy! I've only woken up drunk once! And roos as in....kanga?
Christmas BBQ Ling? Awwww. To have Christmas in the summer! That blows my mind/ sounds kinda awesome. It just snowed 5 or 6 inches here so, no passing out outside and no bbq's. And going over the mountains to see your parents and friends? Most excellent Bear. We do a family gathering/brunch/Christmas dinner and presents at my parents house. I'm bringing along a straggler friend whose family lives far away. Annd I'm also going to a holiday-ish wedding this weekend so long as the snow doesn't blow me away cause it's a state away. |
Yeah, I've never actually had a Christmas in winter...so no white christmas for me...
|
It's nice in winter just because it gets soooo dark and cold. So, a holiday of lights and cheer and all that is a nice way to break up the miserable.
How early does it get dark there in the winter? Cause here it's as early as 4:30 pm before the days start getting longer after Winter Solstice. I can't complain too much. I had a friend who lived in Alaska and she said it'd get light out at 10/10:30am and then get dark before 3pm where she was. O.o |
I reckon between 5-6pm is when it gets dark in Winter around these parts.
