It's just a money issue atm. My heart is willing, but my pockets aren't! I haven't said a definite yes or no as of yet.

I've never actually BEEN to the Jersey Shore....cause you know. I mostly avoid Jersey unless I want to go to H-Mart or Mitsuwa.

i used to live there though, remember? it's not all bad and i think it'll be fun. i'm excited to meet some new people and for the past two years my birthday has been all but forgotten and i've worked and/or stayed home by myself. not this year! i'm jumping on jessica's birthday a little bit as we share the same day, but she's cool and i don't think she minds [yes] although, perhaps she'd be too nice to say something if she did mind.... hm. i hope she doesn't mind!

i know that when we get older it isn't supposed to matter much anymore, but everyone i knew was all getting huge parties when they turned 30.... when i turned 30 i worked and then spent the rest of the day by myself... which isn't the worst, i mean, it's not like i hate being by myself but i guess with some of my family talking about doing something before the actual date i was hopeful :/
we can celebrate both our birthdays when we see each other again!

I threw my own party. lol. I knew there was too much going on at home for my parents to get into doing a bash for me with my dad being so sick, and I wasn't expecting anyone else to go through all the trouble. It was worth it. I wish I took more pictures cause it was a sea of people I couldn't even walk through. XD Warmed my heart cockles and all that jazz.

Yeah! We'll go and do a whole "Treat yo self!" day of awesome.
