Updated. ;o; I'm bummed that it's been blocked on youtube. I got tired of searching. The complete version is blocked. And even in parts certain songs are blocked. I don't expect anyone to watch it, since it is an hour long movie. Found a complete video on google. I love it so much. There is no dialogue, just music that tells the story.
@ Snow: Ah, I remember years ago when they were showing the radio single (or um, you know, the single that music producers release first, hoping it will be iconic and a hit, I don't know the proper terminology) on the telly in the wee hours of the morning (name totally escapes me, will watch the movie) Loooved it!
My sister was listening to that song a while ago, which was when I first heard it.
EDIT// Omg I was on youtube and I somehow got on this song, that I haven't heard in ages! My sister had me totally addicted to this song when I was like eleven. :XD
Its my featured video right now, just because I can. Rock Me, Amadeus!
Pffft, so much for wallowing in the banal, Howdykins.
No no... wallowing in the boorish. Never the banal. ;D ...
Enjoyed your pick, Biggs. Very amusing. I liked that her name was Secret Sharee.
@Kita ~ I love the piano. I am completely jealous on anyone who has that kinda talent.
@Cherry ~ You're a Russian music fiend. ;P
@Snow ~ Y'know, i've seen clips from that before but didn't realize that it was a whole film. I'll definitely have to set aside a bit of time to watch that. I had thought the style looked like Leiji Matsumoto's work and looking it up, I see I was right. :P
Yes. I have hit someone while wearing the sapphire ring. It cut their face.
I don't wear any of that normally though. The only jewelry I wear on my hand is my silver ring that my dad got me when I was thirteen. I wear that, and my toe rings and my necklace. I don't take them off.

That was my reaction as well. Even the title evokes his classic Galaxy Express 999.
@Biggs ~ It does. I really haven't seen too much of Leiji Matsumoto's work, aside from like Galaxy Express 999 and Captain Harlock, but he does have a unique and recognizable style.
*still has to watch this* D:
@anna ~ Nice choice. I like Band of Horses too. ;D
@Iro ~ Wow, a Batman musical. *laughs* I haven't seen any of the animated Batman incarnations since the one in the 90s. Neil Patrick Harris sings pretty well. ... ... He has the voice of an angel. ... Those are his words, not mine.
Ohhh my brother really liked Band of Horses too. I might have to dig up some of their CDs when I go over to his house and check it out. I tried looking to see if anything else he had would be my style and a lot of it was like a bit too bizarre for my tastes....other than Cake. I love Cake though. Well some of Cake.
I think I've been too conditioned by the Japanese song field. What went through my mind when I was listening to Tablescrap was, "Hey, this is nice." And then, "Howdy might like V-Kei."
@ Howdy: There's been Pulp in my life line-up before, and it will be in there again
@ Bra: Ah, another great video from Patrick.
@ Kita: There's some Mclaughlin song that I really quite like, but I can never remember enough of it to go search for it. I think it's more recent, though.
