A succubus is a spirit, though there are humans with similar tendencies. psi-vamps and heavy empaths have a tendency to feed off of others' emotions.

I worship an all powerful all knowing Deity, who is beyond gender, race, or any other human twaddle. I worship Christ as a part of that deity, who has redeemed me for certain inequities, and bad decisions, because my God loves me.

I also believe in other spirits, demons, angels, etc. I even have totem animal spirits, whom I think are probably angels.

I believe in faie, because I've seen them.

I believe in prayer, because I've seen it work miracles.

I believe in God's plan because I've seen things which without it, should not have happened logically.

I believe that God loves everyone, regardless of what they do, say, or are.

That is all. lol.

Hyena 02-25-2011 10:22 PM

Not gonna lie, sarofset; that came out of nowhere.

Feyona: what exactly do you mean by 'succubus?'

Cardinal Biggles 02-25-2011 10:23 PM

What were they like/did they look like?

Succubus is one of my favourite insults to hurl at a woman.

sarofset 02-25-2011 10:24 PM

Everyone was talking about religious stuff, so I thought I would try to explain why I'm so inconsistent. lol. :)

Biggles: They looked like little flitting people, in shadows. They were in the mountains here in Colorado.

Hyena 02-25-2011 10:25 PM

I didn't think that you were particularly inconsistent.

sarofset 02-25-2011 10:26 PM

Not yet, but it might have come up. Now there's clarity. lol.

Cardinal Biggles 02-25-2011 10:28 PM

Hmm. My neighbour says she's seen them here. Which doesn't take all that imagination. If ever they were in need of a glade to frolic in, this would fit the bill perfectly.

Hyena 02-25-2011 10:29 PM

So... you were preemptively clarifying something to avoid confusion... I see.

Kind of odd that it confused me even more...

Cardinal Biggles 02-25-2011 10:34 PM

Aside from my aforementioned interest in Shintoism, as well as other religions and mythologies for their logical approach and/or colourful psychological implications, I consider myself fairly wallowing in agnosticism.

Hyena 02-25-2011 10:41 PM

Yay Agnosticism!

Faith for the faithless, hoyes. We worship the great god Agnos and the goddess Athe. xD

I edge more towards earth-based religion in my agnosticism if for no other reason than from long-term exposure to it. Everyone in my family, with the exception of my brother, has dabbled in some kind of mysticism and just about all of my friends are a variety of pagan. My dad even gave me his tarot deck that he used when he was younger. Its neat!

fairywaif 02-26-2011 02:28 AM

Oh cool.

I'm agnostic too! *high five* I believe there might be a a higher power, but it may or may not be like the Christian God, or any Gods yet mentioned in mythology. I'm not sure I believe in an afterlife, but I definitely don't believe in hell. I don't believe in ghosts, but I do believe that things like fairies and unicorns were probably around at one time, and either died off or are in hiding.

*ninja-poofs in*

fairywaif 02-26-2011 05:31 AM

*waves hi*

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 05:42 AM

And right after I get in, Bedtime. first class is too early....
and I reeeeeally shouldn't be listening to this song before bed: YouTube - Fear Garden with English Sub - Kagamine Rin -

fairywaif 02-26-2011 05:59 AM

Well then bye I guess. I probably shouldn't listen to it either then. Although it's not like I could listen to it on this dumb computer anyways!

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 09:05 PM

I'm back on. The student programming council was showing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in the studen center, and i went to see it last night. Now I'm watching Bleach. I'm such a nerd...

sidrabutterfly 02-26-2011 09:17 PM

Umm.* Looks at thread title.* My mom is the 3rd person on the list to check out "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" from the library.

I'm like on number 15 or so in the Bleach manga. I stopped reading it for a while as I was distracted by other series. As soon I was I finish a couple more though I'm going to restart it. I try not to start series in the middle. One day I may finish all the big long series I want to, but I have this nagging feeling that I won't.

fairywaif 02-26-2011 09:20 PM

I need to see Bleach! I left off when they headed to the Soul Society for the first time. I think I have a lot to refresh on though.

Also, look who you're talking to. This entire thread=nerds.

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 10:21 PM

True, true. I've seen up until when Nel Tu shows her true form. Now I'm working on finishing up Mushi-Shi.

Cardinal Biggles 02-26-2011 10:26 PM

I wish I liked Bleach. It has amazing merchandise.

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 11:08 PM

Bleach is a really good anime and manga. Course, I've got a feeling that this last story arc may very well be the end of it. I hope it's a good one!

sarofset 02-26-2011 11:27 PM

I find it to be a bit fillery. I like it though. A lot of shonen gets repetitive.

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 11:37 PM

True, sadly. Shojo can get about as bad, and most of the Shojo I've been exposed to tends to be really lovey-dovey. Gimme my state alchemists with a short complex, dueling to save the world, and insane vampires killing ghouls left and right. Oh, and supernatural investigators getting pulled into all sorts of creepy situations.

sarofset 02-26-2011 11:38 PM

Watch shuffle. it's awesome. Also Tenchi is kinda duel genre there. And reyoko is awesome. lol.

TaiyoTsuki 02-26-2011 11:54 PM

TENCHI!!!!!! That was my first anime! :squee:
