I really like this idea for a thread. Unusual and evocative. Good luck!

I do hope this little gondola gets popular. Thank you!

iKiwix3 03-06-2011 03:45 AM

I agree its a little werid but its actually not a bad idea for a hangout.
Hopefully it does get popular.
But I guess in the mean time, how is everyone :)

omglol 03-06-2011 04:04 PM

I'm fine, thank you for asking. How about you?

~LONGCAT~ 03-06-2011 05:13 PM

Hi! thought I'd stop by and say that this seems like a great theme for a chat. Oh and I brought a few extra umbrellas in case, they look like giraffes.

omglol 03-07-2011 02:06 AM

Yay, thank you! You can never have too many giraffe umbrellas!

~LONGCAT~ 03-07-2011 03:12 AM

Giraffe umbrellas are too cute, and keep you dry! So how goes?

omglol 03-07-2011 03:18 AM

Pretty good, how about you?

TerrenaAnimula 03-07-2011 05:11 AM

I love storms! *joins*

Umbrellas are lame! I never know what to do with mine when going into some where...most of the time I don't bother unless it is really putting it down and I am on my way to class. Yet I have two umbrellas...and plain small black one, then a larger one by Poketo from Target which is black with white designs on it. :D Which that one stays in my car. :D

~LONGCAT~ 03-07-2011 05:22 AM

I'm doing pretty good, my fingers hurt from braiding hemp. I haven't made necklaces in a while so I lost my finger calluses.
Hi TerrenaAnimula! I used to keep an umbrella in my backpack during college, but my reports kept getting soggy, not good. and when it finally broke because of wind, I never replaced it.

TerrenaAnimula 03-07-2011 04:38 PM

I haven't made hemp jewelry in forever...I still have a lot of the stuff too! In various colors. XD
I don't even carry a backpack. XD Just a tote with the couple of things that I need.
I've never had an umbrella break due to the wind. I don't know how I've managed that one. O.o

~LONGCAT~ 03-07-2011 04:46 PM

Well I needed so much for labs that I just carried around the back pack full of everything. And as for the umbrella I had forgotten about the wind tunnels between buildings on campus and POOF went the umbrella... broke the spokes. But we got more snow than rain where I went so it wasn't all that important of an item for school.

TerrenaAnimula 03-07-2011 04:50 PM

I carried a backpack at my community college. At the four-year I transferred to, I only carry a backpack once in a blue moon. Although I used it more last semester...this semester I've probably only used it about a total of twice.

It rained here yesterday then turned into snow. It started turning things white but it is all gone now.

*pokes head in* hello?

TerrenaAnimula 03-07-2011 04:56 PM

Hey, Bella!

~LONGCAT~ 03-07-2011 04:58 PM

HI! *waves to Ainebella*

When it snowed, we would get hit with four feet at a time. Never a nice dusting, and my classes were never canceled. The profs would put on snow shoes and walk in... Or get snow tires for their bikes. But the backpack really depends on the school and major I suppose. Something that requires a ton of books and materials, a backpack makes sense.

Eastriel 03-07-2011 04:59 PM

this si a super cute idea, hello all!

TerrenaAnimula 03-07-2011 05:00 PM

I'm a studio art major...we get storage units in the studio...so I don't have to carry supplies back and forth unless I am working on something from home.

We don't normally get that much snow...except for last winter... XD Our college will still have classes most of the time because most students live on campus. I don't...I live in the next big town over...it's like a twenty minute commute for me. I've already missed one class because of snow. :/

Hey, Easty!

ainebella 03-07-2011 05:01 PM

Hi Cat, how are you?
