Do you have any idea what other character you might use? Again, we don't have to keep it a school thing by any means.

I think it would depend on the plot. XD I have over 100 characters I can pick from. Let me know what you're thinking and I can find a character that would fit the story.

I mean, I have my stockpile of jerks as well as charming sweethearts. I have humans as well as vampires. If you want a knight in shining armor, I have about five of those. I also have your typical con artist who's always looking out for his own back. I have violent men who eat people as well as a split-personality character. Musically talented men as well as detectives are just some of the professions. I also have military men as well as never-aging children.

I think if we can hammer down a setting (time period at least) and a general plot idea, then I can give you a better idea who I would want to play.

Present day.

A sort of pre-xmen world. Some people are born with strange abilities but no one knows why and most people have no idea it's happening.

So do we want all the characters in this story to have powers? And would we want someone to know about these people, as in our main villain.

I'm currently envisioning a sort of story that revolves around some people randomly get an invite to meet up at some location. This person reveals that he/she can help them and can make everyone "normal" again. All the attendees get a sense of hope until they realized they are being drugged. Those that aren't fast enough, become slaves or die. Only a few manage to escape. The escapees spend sometime alone and then they realize that something bad is going to happen. They have to seek out the other escapees and, together, they need to team up against the main antagonist to stop them from destroying the world.

The easiest way to get Horatio into the story is to have it so his love is captured and in the hands of the antagonist. He knows he can't get her alone so he needs to rally up an army of sorts to march in and save the day.

Constance could have received the invite too. She could be into wanting to help out because she wants to discover her powers. If she doesn't know they exist or what they are, she might want to jump into the fight to unleash her full potential.

We could even keep Serk/Calister. Serk could have attended (Calister would have remained outside the gates). We have two options for these two. Serk could get caught and now Calister needs to save him (OMFG, Calister, saving someone? I think I'll die seeing this go down!). Or Serk escapes and knows he needs to stop this villain from destroying the world.

Anyway, we would get to keep all the same characters. It would be modern day. We could even keep the school setting too! Horatio and Constance can be going to the same school. Calister could even go undercover as a student to get closer to the two (ya know, because he needs to rescue le bossy boss).

(P.S. I haven't really watched x-men but it's Marvel and I know my Avengers so I tried to give it that superhero without being a superhero kind of feel)

I'm pretty big on the Marvel universe in general really. The only thing DC is good for is Batman.

Nope, nope. I never really got into X-Men. I'm more of an Iron Man fan. I do love my Thor and Captain America too. Oh and Hawkeye (and it has nothing to do with the fact that I think my boyfriend looks like Renner). :3 I just watched Man of Steel yesterday and nearly died. IT WAS SOOOO LONG. Not really a DC fan. Batman's okay but it's nothing I would go out and buy. ^^;

I'm not much of a Hawk-eye fan, but Captain America, Iron man and Hulk are awesome. Bruce Banner and Tony Stark are hilarious together!

Hey, what if we did make this in the marvel universe? Like, early marvel, before the Avengers and Shield and X-men. A world before things went crazy!

O.O Before Avengers/X-men... that would make things before WWII, right? That would mean no cell phones or internet. And if we wanted to make sure we made it way before any connections to the Marvel stuff that's currently in production (movie-wise), we're looking at the 1800s? I'm tots okay with past stories but if we're going to go past, I think we should do 1690s (Salem Witch Trials) era or the Dark Ages. Ya know, to give us that extra grunge and darkness/mystery.

wow, you got really excited there. Before avengers still means relatively present era. Captain America would still be lost in the ice. The Avengers weren't the avengers until after their origin stories, remember?

I guess I misread what you meant. I assumed you meant before the Avengers, as in the characters (so I went before Capt's time) not the actual forming of the group.

Ha ha. Well, maybe we should just keep it modern. It is easier. Do we know where we want it to take place? Earth? USA?

I wanna start this thing! Also, it's really freaking difficult not to swear on Menewsha x.x but I'm trying so hard. There are certain things that are just part of my vocabulary these days and sometimes I find it irritating to be unable to express myself properly. Like when a character is really just THAT mad.

Oh well, still gotta have mad respect for them Menewshian rules.
