Well why would you feel stupid? A newbie is a newbie, no matter what they start in. I was a newbie here, on Gaia, in my online games, and now I'm recognized as a better gamer and more knowledgeable operator. Practice.

Demo
It's Grandia III. I got this game a little after it came out, but never really played because I wasn't accustomed to the way this RPG played. I just need to level grind, a lot. I'm quite far behind in leveling.
I'm the first in the family of both sides to actually go to college. I was so excited at first, but the pressure came. I've learned my lesson though. To not always listen to the parent when you know exactly what you want to do and it doesn't involve what the parents want.
A few months back I went to Walmart and I thought the clothes had shrunk.! I was looking a this top that I really liked, but the large looked more like a medium and the medium was definitely a small. I hate how they are making clothes smaller. At first I thought it was just a misprint but other stores are doing it too. It's so annoying, I can't find good fitting clothes. Same with pant sizes. I love GoodWill. They have so many cute, fitting clothing. They also have some other good items that I find myself buying.
I loved pink when I was little, then I went through a phase where I thought pink was an ugly color, now it's a whatever type of thing. I don't have to have pink, but if I like something and it's pink I'll get it anyway. One thing I"m not a huge fan of is flower print. Some tops are nice like that but I find it hard to work around it.
Oh man, that sounds terrible! Mom wanted to go to a Black Friday sale thing, I told her she could go by herself. No way was she going to drag me in the middle of that mess. Luckily she didn't make me go, but she didn't go either.
You sound just like my boyfriend. I go window shopping all the time. I buy one or two things, but I just go to browse mostly. But I don't spend one or two hours in one store, maybe a couple minutes in certain sections of the store. Then move on to the next store. I also don't go into ever store. I am not fan of Aeropostale or Abercrombie. Their clothes are just not my type of thing. I doubt I could fit into their clothes anyway.
My hair looks black, but in sunlight it looks sort of brown. After my red highlighs faded, my hair become a lighter brown with copper looking hair. It was horrible. I also have white strands of hair. I think by the time I'm thirty I'm going to have white hair.
If I threw my phone into the ocean... I would probably jump in after it. But I think by then, the phone would be of no use, having water inside it and all. Plus, I think phones of today aren't built to last as long as the old phones. Especially the touch screen ones. One single deep scratch and the phone would probably be messing up constantly.
Our mom taught us to always tell the truth now matter what it was about. Besides my mom knows when I'm lying, but sometimes I am able to get away with things... Until I tell her. My conscience likes to make me feel guilty. Another reason I don't lie very well, I just can't lie without telling you the truth right after. It eats me up knowing I lied.
My dad is the one who got me into gaming. He bought me my first Nintendo 64. Best Christmas ever. After that, we kept getting more and more games. But we usually wait until the prices go down for consoles, the prices are ridiculous.
I've only talked back once to my mom, and on several occasions I've yelled at my dad. He tends to blame me for stuff that wasn't my responsibility in the first place. Like was suppose to read his mind or something. You also can't argue with him, because you are automatically wrong. So I get extremely frustrated with my dad.
They should. Kids walking all over their parents is just not right.
I've asked my mom about that, but she doesn't want to risk it. I don't know why he turned out so aggressive. He hasn't attacked us, but sometimes I think one day he will. I've tried the thumping on the nose, that only makes him angry and he literally jumps me as if he wants to eat my face off.
I hate sequins. They just tempt me to pull them off! I bought a top like that and in a month it no longer could be used.
I don't think I could do what you do. I'm cranky when woken up earlier than expected. And if someone doesn't have a good reason for why they called at three in the morning, well then I'd be just as annoyed.
Oh! Sounds great to me. No need to rush, I can patiently wait for the first chapter.
Hi hi MCR!
No need to feel like you are intruding! It's nice seeing new people around anyway.
Usually just Demo and I, and sometimes Fleet comes in and joins the conversation. No one else really visits. I wonder if they scared by our long posts....

I have never heard of the game. But I went to YouTube to take a look and it seems like an interesting game. I got God of War a long time ago, but only just started playing. Actually, I finished it already, and the second one though I had to look up what to do every now and then.
It was always intended for me to go to college. But when I neglected to do so, it was especially frowned upon. I was often given ‘the look’ for the next few years, but it faded away after a while. Sometimes it’s brought up still, though. But indeed that is right. Listen to yourself when you feel you should, even if the parents or peers think they know best.
They are trying to make small people feel big and bigger people feel even bigger. I think it’s to mess with our minds. But the scale never lies! I’m still just a little over a hundred pounds, despite what the stores say. I always get custom-made clothes from certain sites on the Internet anyway, so it’s not much of a bother anymore. Really though, I can never find long jeans in the right size if I go looking in stores. They are always too short. With certain people, I can send in measurements and they can make the clothes designed specially. Costs quite a bit, though. We are always donating our old clothes to GoodWill when we have time, or giving food to shelters and doing what we can to help around the island.
I really dislike pink, but not enough to say it all the time or express my distaste in a certain thing just because it’s pink. Flower print, though? I don’t really care who or what you are, but flower-print is mostly ugly.
It was horrible. I was partial to that particular cousin so I had to say all right. After the rush and we were picked up by my uncle and mother, she told me I looked like a puffy black egg on the ground.
I do? Well I hate it. I mean, go for what you want or need, and get out! I can understand if you want to look at something and then contemplate buying it, but really. Maybe sometimes there are things I take a liking to, like an isle of fishing rods or saws, screwdrivers, but otherwise it’s best to get out. And away from those… people. Although sometimes when we walk the sidewalks just to walk, I find myself studying the things in small shop windows. Habit. Namebrand things? Not interesting. Someone tried to drag me into Hot Topic once. I was having none of that!
My hair tends to have no real substance to it without bright light or sun. It just seems like a shadow that you could fall into, as told to me by most of the people I’ve ever lived with. Being eight people in total. But under the sun or bright lights in certain places, it’s got a blue shine to it much like a pen’s ink. Although I’ve got a few sometimes that went gray. Pulling them out harbored no ill will, and they have yet to return. I believe your hair will possibly go prematurely gray if it’s already whitening.
My phone would be gone. I’ve actually crouched on our little dock several times, the last being just earlier today, and looked at it while holding it over the water. Finally I just set it beside me. Although I do believe if it were to get a deep scratch, one would have to go out to get another as the screen would be completely useless then.
I’ve learned my tells. I can lie without a second thought, as though it were the stone-cold truth! Only I lie when necessary or because I have to or if it’s a matter of protecting those around me. I swear, if my conscious were fragile enough to hold a lie against me, I would have gone insane a very long time ago.
I found a love of gaming in my hatred for my parents and home. Whenever possible, I would steal a few dozen quarters from my mother’s change jar and take off to the arcade in town. When I ran out of quarters I would do dares for some extra, or would find some on the ground. Anything to keep from going home again. After I got… employed… I was able to get a couple small game consoles and games from a pawn shop.
I used to just deal with the wild accusations thrown at me by my father. Just deal with it, then he gets bored and goes away. I was only able to talk back to him after I got halfway through high school.
Not right at all. I’m hating the world a little every day.
Hm… I suppose the one thing left is a shock collar. I mean, I hate them and think they are especially inhumane since I’ve been shocked by them, but I’ve seen them correct a dog’s bad behavior even though it was especially negative reinforcement.
I’ve actually taken an electric razor to sequin shirts. Hilarious, but I had to pay for them. But it’s usually a good reason, like they just found something out and they need a meeting immediately, or something got into the house and they need us to get it out. I can wake myself up quickly, though a couple of the others is a little difficult.
All right. Wait, how shall I get it to you?

People always expected me to take art at school, yet I looked the teacher in the eyes and said "Art is my hobby, I don't want to be graded for what I love." Leave that for maths :P
I think there is quite a view for those who don't go to college, yet it's not a bad thing. It doesn't mean that you aren't smart! I want to go to University for the motivation, and I can't really practice the subject -which although I am graded on and it is my hobby, I still love- without the aid of a Professor. I want to have a PhD in physics, which is the kind of goal I set myself.
I wish there was still places with arcades, I love that whole pastime. I have a few emulators, but you don't get that whole feeling.
I am now a year older! Hahaha, and I've had the busiest week!
How're you all?

Absolutely. I took a creative writing class in high school, and despite writing being something I liked to do, I could tolerate having a grade for it. Nice to know what someone else thought of it, and if I got a bad grade, I would stay over after school and ask about what was wrong or what could be done better. That must be why people let me know I'm a good teacher in that particular thing.
Obviously people judge others on what type of grade they get in school, or if they drop out of high school or never go to college. Sometimes the people who have no diplomas are not at all afraid to let show how much more they know than the ones with the high school diploma and college degrees.
The bowling alleys have arcade rooms around here. The bowling alley up front, the arcade in the middle, and a billiards room in back. It's got a nice feel, for being in a time like this.
I noticed that in the bottom of the screen earlier! Left you a note.
Days seem to be growing ever shorter, but we will take what we can! It's nice over here, kids complaining and happy that school is nearing its start, a mix of feelings for it.

Demo
It is an interesting game, fairly short though for it being two disks. Right now I'm stuck again, I have level up my characters before I can advance further. I haven't play God of War, but I've seen it being played.
My dad's attitude changed drastically when I stopped going to college. He would stop paying for the internet saying that I had no reason for it since I wasn't going to school. He would also tell my uncle not to pay my phone bill because I didn't need it. He also wouldn't let me go out anywhere. I was basically a prisoner just because I wasn't ready for college. The he threatened me that if I didn't like his rules I could move out. Which I did. I moved in with a friend, and not even a week passed before he was begging me to come back home. That's when I changed too, I started fending for myself against him. I mean, I love my dad and all, but I'm tired of him always telling me what I can and can not do.
I don't like it at all. At first I thought it was me, but I hadn't changed at all. I didn't gain any weight if anything I lost some and I still couldn't get into my old pant size. I think that's why I love my old jeans. They're comfortable and fit just right. I usually have to get the hems of my jeans tailored. I find great fitting pants but they tend to be too long for me sometimes.
Flower print isn't always flattering, reminds me of granny clothes for some odd reason.
Puffy black egg? That sounds really interesting.
I'm not one for namebrand things either, I like cheap pretty things. Although I have been known to splurge on clothes and shoes sometimes. But I mainly raid the clearance sections. So many cute clothes for half or less of the original price.
My sister's hair had that blueish glow as well. Every time she sees an old picture of herself she claims so loudly that her hair was naturally blue when she was little. She loves to show off and stuff. When she got her new glasses she came into my room and told me that her new set of frames were in and that now hers were better than mine.
I know my hair is going grey. It's not an if thing. I'm not sure if I want to dye it or if I should just let it go grey though. For now I'm just going to enjoy the reaction from the lady who personally cuts my hair. Every time I go for a haircut she finds a new strand of white hair. And it's not grey either, they're pure white strands of hair. As long as I don't go bald I'm okay with white hair.
That's why I take good care of my new phone, being a touch phone and all. Last thing I want to see is a giant scratch on my screen. It has a protection cover, but I doubt it could stop a deep cut on the screen.
I'm only like that with my parents. I can't really flat out lie to them I really don't want to get into deep trouble. I have no problem lying to people who I don't know, or don't really care for.
I love playing games, I've recently made a new PSN account. The old one was my brother's but since he's always on the Xbox 360 I'm taking over his PS3. The game has to be good and challenging. That way it keeps me coming back fore more. I like a good challenge. I get frustrated and makes me want to rage quit, but I end up picking it up again a couple of days later.
My dad isn't as bad, now that he knows I won't stay quiet anymore.
I really don't want to buy a shock collar... I hate those things. But... if nothing else works, we just might need to get one. He may be a troublemaker and hard to control and train, but I don't want to hurt him.
I hate mornings. I take forever to get up. I'll just lay in bed debating whether I want I to get up or go back to sleep. Meetings are okay and all but only when something new has come to attention. I mean, if they're going to just repeat something over and over again, I think I would rather skip the pointless meeting.

I love creative writing, yet over here we have no option to take it as a subject. I started writing by my own will, really. I love how you trap those characters in the text and create that world down to every detail. It really is one of my favourite past-times.
We don't have any arcades around here, a couple rubbish at the bowling alley, and the same by the sea sides. Basically just those old motorbike games.
The countdown to college! Ah, the most boring countdown by a far! :D

Well, I used to have a shop here, but I say it's long gone now. I may have it locked (If it's not locked yet) and make a new one. Other than that, I don't think some more of the places I used to go on here are still active. I haven't been here in about a year, I think.
Besides that, there were other sites I used to get on all the time, too.
