Oh well not that it shouldn't be colorful. But generally looking at past winners, it isn't just matchy the colors that's enough to win. :3 Has to be interesting too.

Nah. Just takes more practice methinks. I use to be horrible at avi making D: I like to think now I can at least pull off a few interesting ones.
It's just for Admin Pick matchy/matchy isn't always the way to go. And using common items/matching sets also won't get you too far. You can't really tell but most of my outfit is made up from 2 items which are both from the same set. xD I just hid it pretty well methinks. You kinda have to figure out what kind of avi making person you are. Theme or Layers. I fall more on the theme side, that is I'm more likely to make an avi inspired by something like my Watermelon one for example. Other people on the other hand, just do well with layers. They can layer the items well enough that it looks interesting but doesn't necessarily make sense with item they're using. |

xD I rarely use the DAC. Actually I use the DAC more for finding items then actually creating avis *bricked* The only time I use the DAC is for contests and I don't have the item to create avi I'm picturing. xD <3 But that's why I try to obtain as many commons as I can! 8D <3
