yeah, my favorite thing about the internet is that you can share ideas that much easier.
The Internet is a very useful tool. I love a lot.
Actually I wager its more like quadrillions or more.
It would be impossible to have every book ever written. It would be difficult enough to have every book published. |
That's true because not all books are published. Interesting.
and we have to filter information...
What do you mean filter information?
Too many information, you have to be able to justify which one is true, which one are lies.
This is also true.
MEh that's kinda tricky. One persons truth isn't true for everyone.
Hence why such a project would be very difficult indeed.
which is why university discourage students from using online resources...
Ours don't. They just encourage us to use sights ending in .gov or .org
University have to do that or else the students would even quote from facebook and any other site.
ugh.....say it aint so!
lol only .org and .gov eh? You guys don't see a problem with it?
Basically they're making sure your educated with their versions of the truth. |
I just do whatever makes me pass lols.
Corara~ lol. Now that is very sad. XD
Nephilala~ it is very difficult to know all the truths in this world. |
Yes it is. That's why for me it would make more sense to put it all in and let people decide what's relevant to themselves.
Well I am of the opinion that each person holds their own truth. But that theory does not pass classes.....sad as that is.
I don't know what kind of truths that is of each people's own?
If you are talking about thinking, opinion or philosophy, then I understand. but I thought truth is a fact like... 1 + 1 = 2? The world is round? |
Basically I mean that each person has there own right to believe in what they feel is true.
Also 1+1 does not always equal two. Once you get into things like imaginary numbers or logic. |
oh... I see.
Sounds more like opinion or philosophy to me. what are imaginary numbers or logic? |
It is partially philosophy. But partially its not. For instance, a person born in america and one who learned from american history books, is going to have a much different view on what is true about WWII then someone from germany.
And that would take far to much explaining. Its a higher branch of mathematics. |
I believe that truth is one. Just one.
It is just different opinions that makes people have split believes. |
you would have to live in an entirely impartial world for that to be true.
