Actually it is more likely they won't translate it into english :(

Well, besides the fact that i am Asian, I like the games that japanese developers come up with. storylines and graphics are beautiful in japanese games that i follow. Most of the games I play are actually japanese games that were translated, but they're rpg games so those are popular and so american companies license them.

i don't know, i just feel like most of the good games come out of Japan.... :/

And no...even if the animes get licensed in america it doesn't guarantee that they translate the games as well. 'Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom' just happened to be one really lucky one that did get translated...

Isn't that game also on the PSP? I'm surprised as hell that game gets to come over here, but not Persona 2: Eternal Punishment PSP. D:

I do agree that Japanese games are just better than their Western counterparts. I wish more came over. /sad

it's also annoying cause even if you import the japanese game you can't always play it unless you get a japanese gaming system.

DD; That depends on the system. PSP, Nintendo DS, PS3 and the Vita are current systems that can play imports. Note, the PSP cane play the games, not the UMD movies. The Nintendo 3DS can not play imported games. However, it can play imported DS games (I know this for a fact. I have an imported DS game that plays on the 3DS.)

Final Fantasy type-0 isn't coming over. the PSP is technically dead over in the States.

DD; Yup. You can import games from the UK or Asian countries (Japan) and it'll play. Just remember, the movies won't.

I like JRPGs. To say that I am a fan to the Persona series, is an injustice. I LOVE that series to death. x.x However, I love the Xenosaga series a little bit more than Persona. [heart]

Uhm...I know one japanese rpg game for the psp that was translated that kept the majority of the original japanese gameplay was disgaea.

Fianl Fantasy games are always popular. Then uhh...Monster Hunter seems popular as well though i haven't played it. And uhm... Phantasy Star and Star Ocean (I've played the latter). And Lunar was a good one as well.

The Persona series is great, but OMG Xenosaga was awesome! but I cry that I can't find the third game >.< I only have the first two >.>

Aoi; Atlus localized the first Disgaea game, and NISA did the rest. There isn't much of a difference for me, really. Have you checked online? The game is fairly inexpensive now. The graphics on the 3rd installment are... WOW... breath taking for the PS2. Seriously. Beautiful.

Fate is a game where you fight for a holy grail.. but you don't remember your past... it's kinda sad...
