gaia is much more drama than menewsha.
it is not a very close knit place either.
i prefer it here to be honest.
i am just doing the trick or treating to get the halloween belt, it is pretty cute and so is the scarf.
but everything else looks about the same as years past.

i haven't met one person here that i dislike.
on gaia you have a hard time finding a place that there isn't some kind of discontented person.

i have come across a handful of people who eventually grew to dislike me and vice versa, but i figure that is going to be anywhere and avoidance is relatively easy

yeah not everyone gets alone with everyone.
but at least here on menewsha people don't go out of their way to insult others for no reason other than to be rude.
i like it here much more than gaia.
i basically stay to myself and play in the aquairiums there or do the events.

aquariums?! O_O what is that?! i assume it's not like a real one lol

it's a game that gaia has where you have an aquairium in your signature.
when your tank is ready to be played it glows.
others can play in your tank and earn gold from your glowing fishies.
it was a lot of fun until they nerfed the life spans of the fishies and the amount of goldies that you get from the game.
typical gaia always 'fixing' what is not broken and blaming inflation from greedy members on other things.
that is another think i love about menewsha, the exchange is such a great place to find items you missed at really reasonable prices.
and also a great place to make really nice friends who work with you to help you find the items you are questing.
you would never see that on gaia.
greed equals gaia.

the game sounds neat :O but yea, i've guessed about the greed thing when it comes to that site
it's too bad, but then there might not be as many people who would have left and came here if it wasn't so crappy :P

i wasn't sure how i felt about the exchange at first, but you're right. it's so much easier to get what you need and to sell you items... i remember when i used to scavenge through everyone's shop threads looking for items i wanted/missed so at least it's quicker

yeah i like the exchange so much.
i wouldn't have half the items i do have without the kind exchangers.
i think it is really neat the way we try to help each other find what they are looking for, the items they miss while away.

and yea, i've seen it so many times
people going out of their way to be kind to others who are questing for certain items
i've seen it many times where people will either give the item or not ask full asking price for something really expensive

yeah i know.
i hope i can do that someday on menewsha.
i can do it on gaia since i was there and active longer.

i try to do it when i can, like i buy the monthly contribution items and try to keep them at a fair price... it's hard cause everyone is jacking up the prices trying to get as much as they can... i do try to give out gold when i can and to those who need it cause i have so much, but that's about all i can do

I started on gaia around the time it started and the people were nice. Now its nothing but rude noobies who think they know more then what they actually know. And the fact that the creators or how ever is running the site has made the site ad friendly has made me give this site more attention. I know ads help pay the bills but with all the stuff they sell for real $$ I think its kind of annoying
