hummy 10-28-2011 08:14 PM

i will in a bit Kuki.
i'm so sorry for you and Cheyenne.
lots of love, hugs and prayers.

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:17 PM

Thanks Hummy.

I've got a story.

One time I had to go to work back when I worked at Taco Mayo, the first day. She wanted to follow me to work, so we took her with me to see me go to work. She wagged her tail and watched me until they left.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:21 PM

aw, how sweet.
did you bring her home some taco mayo something?

love the name of the taco place too.

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:22 PM

Yeah I gave her a burrito.

Another story, anytime she got food she would find a place to hide it, usually afterwards she'd pounce and bounce on the spot to make it comfy and lay there.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:25 PM

lol, yay burrito.
she sounds like a fox in the snow.

how's dad doing Kuki?

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:26 PM

He is doing alright, thanks for asking.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:30 PM

i'm glad he is doing alright.
the stress of losing Cheyenne is probably a lot on him,
sometimes that spirals peoples illinesses so keep an eye on him.

how ae you doing after the inital shock and sadness?

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:31 PM

I'm still get spurts of sadness and crying, but I should be fine.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:32 PM

it's been almost seven years since i lost my little sweet pea.
and just last night, i kid you not, i found an email about her passing.
it brought me right back to the very day and i sobbed my heart out.
i miss her like a people and feel so sad for you today.

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:32 PM

Yeah, I don't care what anyone says. To me, she was my daughter.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:38 PM

i completely understand.

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:40 PM

She means more to me then most people do.

llonka 10-28-2011 08:43 PM

*hugs kuki-poo again* you are not going to get rid of my hugs!!! muhahahaha!!! and that's cute, you think of her like your daughter.

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:44 PM

Hugs Llonka back. "She was to me."

hummy 10-28-2011 08:44 PM

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:45 PM

Yeah, she was my only friend for many years.

hummy 10-28-2011 08:47 PM

Kukon 10-28-2011 08:49 PM

Yeah, I hope your right. I'd love to get to see her when I die.

llonka 10-28-2011 08:54 PM

 that's what i've always been told. would be nice, huh??

hummy 10-28-2011 08:57 PM

kuki please read 'the rainbow bridge' poem, it's on the first page in 'animal lover's' thread.
i know it will make you cry but it's a good cry.
i said a prayer for my little girls to look for Cheyenne coming over the bridge to show her the ropes.
i like to think of my kitties going fishing with my grampa and eating all the fish their bellies can hold!

llonka 10-28-2011 09:01 PM

i've always been told that the people you loose greet you once you make it to Heaven, and i think that includes animals. I think it's comforting thing, to know that they are waiting and watching for you.

*hugs kukon and hummy* love you two!!!

i better go see about Kaleb...
