Artist Hangout
 

I didn't see a hangout like this already started so I'm going to start one.

I kind of wanted to see how many others here just draw for fun or have become a professional artist, whatever your medium might be.

If all of the hobby artists and professional artist would like to come here and hang out. This is your chance to share what you might be working on and get some constructive comments, if that's what you're looking for. Or just show off your style.

All are welcomed and if you want to talk about other things besides art that's fine.

I only ask that no one fight in here or purposely put down another artist or their work. I believe that every artist should be treated as an equal and everyone develops their talent at different rates.

Hey there! I'm pretty sure we tried to do this before, a long time ago, so maybe this new hangout will work out well! For now, I'm more of a hobbyist but I'm really trying to push myself to work on my art more often and to put more into it. :)

:hug: Thanks Hummy. I think everyone has some kind of talent. Maybe yours is in a different medium.

Fire: I definitely agree. People are skilled in different ways, even in the arts. My sister can sculpt but can't draw at all. I can draw, but sculpting just never happens with me. My mom can paint, but not draw. My mom and sister can both sew, but I'm a disaster with it.

Hummy: I'll agree to call it a talent if Fire agrees to call it one as well! ;D

I'm so not a hinges though. This name is actually quite old. I just didn't feel like having this account deleted and creating a new one that was more current with names I'd use now. I do have my allotted one mule though. I've been debating just posting with her from here on out.

I think there's a way to change your user name actually. I've heard of it happening...though I haven't done it myself so I'm not sure how they did it.

I think there is too, I just haven't asked about it. Not quite sure what name I'd go with anymore. Hmmmm... But this is a nickname I once had in high school. My best friend wrote a series of short stories based on the two of us. My character's introduction story was The Not So Evil Empress of Evil. My character failed at being evil. lol I wish I still had those stories. They were fun.

lol I have a number of nicknames but never understood who I got some of them.

Most of my nicknames come from old screen names on things like AIM or online games like world of warcraft. Otherwise my nicknames are pretty standard short forms of my real name. So, Cassy/Cassie/Cassi, Cass, Sandy, Sandra for those. From wow its Cinnamonroll and Cinna and Winter.
