How did it catch fire?

There are three stories going around. One was that the house was recently re-wired and the council did a dodgy job, so that set the place on fire. Another was that she fell asleep and her cigarette set the place on fire. The third was she left a portable heater on while she was sleeping and it caught fire. I personally think the first one is bogus though.

It didn't say in the newspaper though? Did her whole house get damaged?

Our local news paper isn't released yet, and our town isn't really big enough to make one of the national papers.

Yeah, it was lucky the two houses next door didn't catch fire too. They had to put structural supports in to keep the house up.

Oh wow, sounds like it has gotten alot of damage, she most likely will not be able to live there anymore.

No, she's been put up in temporary accommodation as it's the council's obligation.

My dad's cat, Kitty, loves sitting on his girlfriend when she knits.

Awesome, that's where my little girly likes to sleep too, right on my arms as I am trying to type so i start typing slow and with one hand, which is kinda hard when I am writing letters to the boyfriend.

Girlcat likes to try to lay on my chest when I am leaning back. I usually wind up cradling her in one arm. Boycat likes to sit with his butt on my lap and his forelegs on the arm of the chair so he can hide his face in the crook of my arm.
