I have to sit for at least a half hour before bed. My mind is way too busy so I use that time to clear my mind.

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:12 AM

Oh, I usually let my mind empty while lying in bed. :')

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:15 AM

I used to when I had a TV. Used to just watch TV for a bit but I haven't owned one for years now. o.o

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:17 AM

I very rarely watch tv. I got a new one from my dad on Saturday since it didn't pick up signal in his house. It makes a nice change playing games on something bigger.

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:18 AM

That's the only reason I want one is for games. Everyone always talks about their video games and it makes me miss mine.

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:23 AM

I've been gaming a lot more now I have a new TV. I need a comfier chair though. :gonk:

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:24 AM

Yes, a good chair is a must! I used to have these awesome chairs that were like mini recliners. They were the best for gaming. Couldn't get out of them after a while because they were so comfy.

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:26 AM

My one sucks! It's a cheap computer chair that I need to put pillows on otherwise it hurts my arse, and even then it's not good for the long haul. My tv is too far away from my bed and too high to see properly and sit on the floor. :c Firstworldproblems.

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:30 AM

Ah yeah, my ex had that problem at her house. We eventually ended up just moving stuff around so we had the couch to use but it was a small couch so it normally was her brother and her on the couch and I ended up either on her lap or in the uncomfy chair anyway. Her dad was weird about her and I sitting close so I mostly just would take the chair over him staring us down.

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:34 AM

Ah, unlucky! D; If I could shift my bed closer, I would. I used to do that in my old room, but there's just too much things to move in this one so it wouldn't be worth it. :c

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:38 AM

I have yet to find somewhere where I can fit a TV in my until yet. I was thinking my bedroom but I'd have the same problem with the bed not being able to be moved unless I mount it on the wall or something. O.o

RoadToGallifrey 06-25-2012 03:42 AM

I have so few plugs in my room, so I have my tv and consoles on my drawers, which are in the wardorbe, and even then I need an extension cord. And then since the door is in an odd place, the bed can't really go any closer. :/ My mum has a chair in her room that looks a little comfier, so I may borrow that. xD It's still hard and wooden, but still. xD

What about your living room?

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:43 AM

My living room doesn't have plugs. Plus my bearded dragons are housed there. It's more like a reptile room than a living room since it's more in the back of the house and tiny. XD

True. xD It was brutal seeing him live though haha.

I'm alone so if I didn't have music it would be really sad. There's not even any traffic just now haha.

Haha, yeah. I do enjoy quite a bit of his stuff, but I don't think I'd ever see him live.

Most days, I usually just have the tv on as background noise. And that's it~ Sometimes I'll have Pandora on or a Youtube playlist going, but for the most part, I'm good with no music.

Ikuto: I've always had really good luck with bell peppers. I dread getting ants in the garden. My mom had them destroy everything one year. I'm having problems with cabbage butterflies. I think they're pretty so I feel bad for trying to kill them but they've eaten my cabbage and cauliflower pretty badly. You can always pickle or can the peppers if you get too many. I am for sure doing that with tomatoes this year.

We have kind of a bad ant problem in our yard. Though it's not as bad as before. That was one of the factors that turned me away from doing raised beds. At least with containers, I can clearly see any trail and move them. I actually moved the pumpkins into the screened-in porch today because it was going to rain badly and I didn't want them to get all whipped around by the wind and rain. xD Also wasn't sure if the container would survive having a bunch of water in it suddenly like that. > A>;
Aww. Are there any natural predators to them? My same friends were having problems with ... aphids? I think... those or some other bug and they were going to get some ladybugs to take care of it, but the ladybugs ended up coming themselves.
Ah yeah, that's an idea! I've never pickled before though. :O

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:49 AM

Ladybugs are awesome for that. I had to get some because of aphids. Evil little things! Not too sure about natural predators. I've just been picking the caterpillars off and killing them as I find them, which I feel horrible about. I hate killing anything but it's either they go or all my cabbage family plants go. I put those clips that you find on bread loaves on the leaves of the cabbages though. I guess the adult butterflies are detoured from the plants then because they think they're other butterflies on the plant already. Seems to help a bit at least.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 06-25-2012 03:53 AM

Aww. Yeah I'd feel bad too. :c But very true, either them or your hard work is for nothing. That's a pretty clever trick though! :O

Mystic 06-25-2012 03:55 AM

I read it on a website and didn't think it would actually work but it seems like there's less babies on the plants so I think it's doing something. Either that or it's my evil caterpillar squishing that's doing it.

Iku:: Shadow Link! I totally just killed you the other day! :illgetu:

now that I have my writing priorities straightened out and I feel more
confident in my writing, I should probably work on some more pixel art to update my shop.
