Kita: That's just how my current insurance plan works. I actually don't have any co-pays *except* for the ER (which is always $100), but I have a $400 deductible for urgent care (once I meet that limit, though, I don't pay anything else, and all subsequent visits would be free... but that's still about three visits before I wouldn't get a bill from the clinic).
Visiting a regular doc is much cheaper though. Again, no co-pay, and depending on the service, I might not have deductibles either. The ER also has a deductible of $2000, but that's for everyone on the plan (me, my brother, my dad, and his girlfriend), and since dad's helicopter ride from his motorcycle accident alone was like $12,000, that deductible has already been met, so from here on out all ER visits are covered except for the co-pay. (And the cool thing for him, is that his auto insurance covers some medical costs, and that deductible is only $1000, so he'll get a check for $1000 to help pay his medical deductible, basically, so that's pretty awesome.) But, the good news is that my ankle is starting to feel marginally better, the swelling isn't terrible, and the pain is very localized, so I think I just need to keep resting it and just stretch it out every once in a while to keep it from getting stiff. I took some tylenol last night to help me fall asleep just because I couldn't get comfortable but it's much easier to get comfortable this morning even though it's worn off. |

Hah! Originally they were going to be Buttons and Zipper. I posted the idea on facebook and this one girl STOLE IT and named her puppies that. So I switched to a Greek deities theme. All of my cats will be Greek now xD
Hebe almost came home with her mom, who was a beautiful black cat. I wanted to name her Nyx. Unfortunately she was PSYCHO and didn't get along with any other cats, Hebe included. Hebe's mom is like mine that way I guess >3>;; |
Ugh, I hate when people do that! I never post anything I want to stay original on Facebook. There's one girl who kept her baby name really secret just in case anyone else that was pregnant decided to take it. I thought that the name would be really cool and unique, but it turned out to be Liam, which is incredibly common over here. :roll: Someone I know did that with Ryan too.
My dad has two cats, Kitty and Slinky. I love chihuahuas. I know they get a lot of haterade for being yappy but I definitely prefer small dogs over big dogs.
