lol It's been around since guys wore long curly hair.
And that gawd awful feather hairstyle, where it looks like your hair will fly off by itself.

Thanks M i r o:, for your suggestions...I do have a leave in conditioner for my hair but it's one of those oil type, not lotion type. Damn that Pantene commercial for making me think it would be good. Actually I don't know whether it would be good with regular use, because I don't like the oily feel of it.
And I don't have curly hair, it's more straight and slightly wavy in terms of natural appearance...but it is thick, each strand that is, and there's a fair amount of strands, used to be even more but then the hairs started dropping a bit when I wash it and when I comb it such that I don't even really need to get it layered or thinned it out anymore. That kind of saddens me...
But anyway. My hair also is a kind of stiff type...and when I say that I mean it sort of stays in a position that it's kept in for a while...can be good if I want to style it up or something but it's bad for when I want to leave it down, which I hardly ever do when I go out. Simply because after sleeping if it has been pressed against the pillow in a certain way it stays like that when I get up. If I clip it in a way for long enough the the place the clip was, can be seen in my hair when I take it out.

I'm not too sure about oil, it doesn't work all the time. But I'm sorry [:(]
Pantene works! It smooths down my hair and makes it soft.
Oh, stiff like almost exactly like horse hair? That's a toughie. @ . @;
Well, if you ever want to try those, I hope it works for you. Un-tameable hair is really annoying and upsetting, I understand.
