Someday, I hope to have lots of commons to make interesting outfits with. However, just bought baby yan for 30k. I really wanted it though. Time to start saving up again. Do you know on what date the next CI will be released? |

Dan - Ohhh, yeah [lol] I forget that some times you change your avatar extremely frequently!! [lol]
Tiger - I met an old friend I haven't seen in over a year and a half. Last time she saw me, my thyroid problem was at it's worst which caused me to be very underweight. I am now at least 30 + pounds heavier since then - and even though it was good that I did and I am much healthier now, when she saw me, after saying "Is that you?" and me confirming, her way of joking was to say "woah! I almost didn't recognize you! You sure gained a lot of weight!". After talking to her for a few hours and hanging out I literally didn't even want to have her over for dinner later even though she came anyway, and it's because she would keep bringing up my weight and appearance. The way she said all those things gave me the impression that she liked the way I looked back when I looked like I was starved for a few months locked in someone's basement rather than the way I look now.. And that bothered me a lot considering those days were like torture both physically and mentally for me. The whole time she talked to me like she was trying to sound obvious about telling a fat person who used to be thin that they need to go on a diet if they want to look like they once did.... She invited me over her house for tomorrow night.. I said yes because she begged me, but I am not looking forward to it. I think then might just be a good time to tell her "If you still want to be my friend, stop talking the way you are to me and let me look the way I want." |

Yeah [XD] I remember plenty of times when I would look at your avatar and think "Dan's avatar looks pretty cool!" And then the next time I see it an hour later it would be different, and then again and again until I wonder just how many items you have in your inventory [rofl]
I get the feeling she likes the "unusually skinny look".. Also, she doesn't look very well. Last time I saw her she looked quite healthy and pretty, but now she looks the opposite. Her skin is really REALLY pale, she has big bags under her eyes, it seems like she's starting to get wrinkles on her face and forehead, her hair is frizzy and has millions of dead and split ends in it so it looks like a rats nest, and she may or may not have lost a little bit of weight perhaps, because her cheeks looked a bit sunken in.. The rest of her body seemed to look like a normal weight though so I am unsure why her face quite looks like the way it does. About holding out for so long without telling her - well, she used to be one of my best friends. I felt the need to just be patient and nice to her, in respect of an old and long friendship. But towards the end I really did want to just yell at her when she said "don't snack or anything before you come over for dinner tomorrow! Also, I hope you like salad!" as she headed out my door....Just.. Dafuq? Seriously? |
Wow. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but she seems pretty rude from what I have read in your two posts.
She should not have discussed your weight to the point of it being uncomfortable for you. You should tell her that you feel happier and healthier now and if she can't discuss it in a positive way, just talk about something else. |
She really is rude! She never used to be, but I guess people change!
And trust me, I would try changing the subject every time she mentioned my appearance. It would work, but only for a while before she'd bring the subject back up. |
Right now I think I have a little over three thousand items. [XD] 860+ of them are extras/repeats though. [lol] |
Hopefully she'll lay off of you about your weight tomorrow night.
