Thank you. [=3]
Having my own house has been slightly frustrating when it came to fixing up some things around the house, and re-doing my address at the post office, re-directing my billing address and other such business, but it has also been fun to re-decorate it and make it my own as well as having the feeling that this is MY place and I can do whatever I want to and for it.
I also live right next to woods and have a river in my backyard where ducks seem to like to stay even though it's been freezing over here for the last 2 months [XD].

Oh gosh... [XD] what makes her think this? [lol]

BellyButton 01-01-2014 12:57 AM

Dear sir,
I touched your butt and nothing happened. I want my money back!! [illgetu]

P.S. I clicked because madness.

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 12:59 AM

Ooh, I love ducks. [heart]
Hehe, they just look so silly to me. They make the best sounds. Quaack.

My step mum is just convinced because she's desperate to connect to me on some level.
I was much older, 15, when they married, so she wanted desperately to be seen as "another mom".
She pushes too hard, and I can't stand her. So, anything I say that she may feel slightly the same about, she clings to.
She is constantly saying "OH MY GOD, we are SO much alike. It's like you're really my daughter". -_- No, no we're not.

Hello, Bellybutton! :) How are you this evening?

You touched my butt and now your finger smells like farts! That's what happened!![insane] NO REFUNDS!!

Ducks are pretty awesome! Sometimes I just walk out to my backyard with a loaf of bread and feed them pieces of bread. It's so fun having a sawrm of ducks circle me! [XD]
Oh, I see... Well, she just wants to connect with you, so how about you let her?

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 01:20 AM

It's not that I haven't tried to be friendly with her.
But then she calls my mother, the only person who raised me, a "vindictive bitch" because my dad didn't want to pay child support for my younger sister, it's hard to like her. -_-

BellyButton 01-01-2014 01:26 AM

Hi Clair! I'm well, except for my poor finger. [cry] How about you? :)

---------- Post added 12-31-2013 at 06:27 PM ----------

oops, liveupdate bad. Sorry about your mom-in-law troubles. :3

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 01:30 AM

She's not my mum-in-law.
She's my father's wife. :)

What happened to your finger? :o

McNugget 01-01-2014 01:31 AM

Oh gosh.. I can see why.. Well, at least try to tolerate her. She does seem to want to stay on your good side.
*Pokes BellyButton*

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 01:35 AM

Oh, I do tolerate her. [lol]
We only have one more day together and then she and my dad go back to Idaho. [sweat]

BellyButton 01-01-2014 01:54 AM

Oops, my bad. I didn't want to intrude by reading back, and now I see that I should have. ;D

We shan't speak of my finger, either. [lol]

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 01:55 AM

Haha, alright then.

Have you had a good holiday? :)

BellyButton 01-01-2014 02:13 AM

I have! It's been pretty low key, which is nice. :)

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 02:14 AM

Low key is good. Too much stress otherwise, and then it's hard to calm down long enough to enjoy it.

McNugget 01-01-2014 02:17 AM

Low key is best when you're a ninja though.
Are you saying you're a ninja Clair? [ninja]

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 02:23 AM

If I was, would I reveal that? Jeez, use your head.

...[ninja]

McNugget 01-01-2014 02:27 AM

You have a good point there.... http://i.imgur.com/0ge7QZg.gif

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 02:28 AM

Haha, people are lighting off fireworks like crazy and my littlest sister, who is five, is freaking out.
She keeps asking our uncle if he's going to light off fireworks, and keeps being disappointed with "no", even though he's said it a few times. It's cute to watch. :)

McNugget 01-01-2014 02:30 AM

lol awww [XD]
Littlest? How many siblings do you have? [:O]

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 02:32 AM

I am the oldest of five (only counting biological children).
If you count siblings my family accepts as my siblings, then I am the oldest of six.

If you count all the siblings that I count in my heart, I am the third oldest of ten. [lol]
It's a very complicated story.

McNugget 01-01-2014 02:51 AM

Wow.. [XD] Okay, I asked a bad question, didn't I? [lol]

Clair Voyant 01-01-2014 06:57 AM

Not necessarily a bad question. A hard question. [lol]

Ling 01-02-2014 07:00 AM

Families these days do come in all sorts of diverse relations that can be hard to understand for those who seem to fit in the 'norm'...

And now I'm suddenly thinking of that 'I'm my own Grandpa' song...[sweat]

McNugget 01-02-2014 10:24 PM

I'm my own grandpa? Sounds like a weird song [XD]

PrincessKasumi 01-03-2014 12:04 AM

I hear contest has been moved over here

It is, very weird...basically it describes the possibility of a family where taking away the 'step' aspect of relations that one man is essentially his own grandfather even though there's no blood related incestuous relations involved.

If I remember correctly...the ego marries a widow woman with a grown up daughter and his father marries the grown up daugher of the ego's wife....resulting in the ego being his own grandfather.
