I think I've felt growing pains before [ninja] It's a weird feeling. But not as much, because obviously, I didn't grow a lot [XD]

Zira Angel 05-22-2014 09:37 PM

Growing pains isn't muscle pain, since the muscles are pretty good at stretching out. It's the fact that your bones suddenly went from going, 'Man, I feel good, I'm just gonna stay here," to, "HOLY CRAP, I'VE BEEN STRETCHED OUT. Y U DO DIS??? [cry][gonk][cry]"

They actually sort of feel like muscle pains... Only, at the same time not muscle pains. They're sharp and come out of nowhere and then go away when you least expect them to <_>

Curiouser and curiouser!

When I read the word: "sharp" my reaction was: [twitch]

@Lexadis - You've felt growing pains but I haven't. Maybe there's a chance I didn't notice it since I've pretty high pain tolerance. I was able to go through having my wisdom tooth pulled without the anesthesia having any effect on me. x_x

McNugget 05-22-2014 09:43 PM

Have you ever been stabbed by a needle? That's sort of how the pain felt for me.

Zira Angel 05-22-2014 09:44 PM

Ity does feel a bit like breaking bones, but not???

Like I said, that pain you get when you run. Shin splints. those. they be dumb.

Sestina 05-22-2014 09:44 PM

I have, yes. [gonk]

McNugget 05-22-2014 09:45 PM

Maybe it's because of me reading all these growing pain posts... But now I feel like I'm getting them again.. It could be my brain playing tricks on me though o____o

Lexadis 05-22-2014 09:45 PM

Ses, that's very high tolerance [twitch]
After reading Nugget's post the tip of my middle finger feels like it's being stabbed by a needle [gonk] [XD]

Sestina 05-22-2014 09:51 PM

@McNugget - Well that's good then! I mean, you want to grow another inch or two, right? [XD]

@Lexadis - Very high tolerance, indeed. The dentist injected me 4 times with anesthesia and I still felt them slicing open my gums, stretching my sliced gums wider, nudging my wisdom tooth, and pulling it. It felt like they were breaking my jaw, trying pull my jaw off its hinge. I was gripping the dentist's arm rest with my life. If I didn't, I'd end up punching the dentist from the pain. [rofl]

Zira Angel 05-22-2014 09:51 PM

Sesti, having your wisdom tooth yanked without anything to numb the pain? I feel ill just thinking about it.

Lexadis 05-22-2014 09:53 PM

God that does sound painful [gonk] *faints*
I once kicked a doctor and too bad, he was in a comfy wheel-tired chair [angel] The expression when he went flying! [rofl] [rofl]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:00 PM

Well, they only use local anesthesia when you need to have your wisdom teeth or tooth removed. When they tested me, we found out I was allergic to the common... brand (?) of anesthesia, in short I could die from it. They tested me again and again until they finally found one that I'm not allergic too.
Half of my mouth did went numb the first time they injected me but after about 5 minutes, the numbness went away and I felt everything. I guess it didn't help that I'm a bleeder (I bleed really easy even when I took a medicine that should've minimized the bleeding) so I got really pale and I was crying but silent while they were trying to pull off my wisdom tooth. Also, I've got pretty strong teeth, so it took a total of 3 dentists pulling my wisdom tooth in turn. [rofl]

It's funny thinking about it now but man was I in so much pain during that time. [rofl]

Reading the bold part while drinking milo wasn't the best thing I could do... I choked on them because of the laughing! [rofl] [rofl]

But it sounds.. very painful [gonk] I would have blacked out for sure. I'm the one who flinches even at the dentist mirror [XD]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:08 PM

Hahaha! [lol] You really like Milo, don't you? :)

Yeah, I could already see white spots dancing around my vision, that usually happens when I know I'm close to fainting. I'm just strong-willed or maybe just hard-headed and force myself to not faint. [XD]

Lexadis 05-22-2014 10:11 PM

I love Milo [love] It's chocolate! [drool]
I have no control over my fainting [XD] One moment: I'm dizzy. The next moment: I wake up in bed. You could be like.. a super heroine? super woman? or something [insane]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:15 PM

Have you read its ingredients? [XD] I'm just curious, I've read the ingredients of the Milo being sold here and I don't really like the ingredients. [XD] Ever since my past head chef told me to always read the ingredients, it's become a habit for me. I ended up no longer eating a lot of the foods I used to eat at times before. lol

Nah, I wanna be an amazon like Zira! [insane]

Lexadis 05-22-2014 10:23 PM

I saw them just now, I had to make a wild search for it, my eyes didn't spot the small fonts at first [XD]

Quote:

Milk, Sugar, Malt extract, Skimmed Milk Powder, Cocoa powder, Sweet whey powder, Permitted stabilizers, Calcium Phosphate, Sodium Carbonate, Magnesium Carbonate, Vitamins, Sodium Phosphate, Vanillin, Iron Pyrophosphate.
I never see the ingredients [angel] Mainly because mum sees all ingredients [XD] And needless to say, I don't understand half of the ingredients [rofl] I didn't even know that all those chemicals could be eaten [insane]I only studied them in chemistry [XD]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:30 PM

My head chef used to throw almost all products with chemical ingredients in it [rofl] I guess those ingredients are as good as it's gonna get.

Lexadis 05-22-2014 10:33 PM

It's okay for him because he could cook! [rofl]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:37 PM

Yeah, he taught me how to make my own mayonnaise [XD] saying that the mayonnaise we buy in stores is just all fat. [lol]

Lexadis 05-22-2014 10:43 PM

Mayonnaise you cook isn't all fat? [drool]

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:50 PM

We didn't cook mayonnaise. You don't need to cook anything to make mayonnaise. [yes]

Lexadis 05-22-2014 10:52 PM

Makes sense [XD] What is in there? I've never wondered about it [XD] Smells like eggs to me.

Sestina 05-22-2014 10:53 PM

Egg yolk, yep!
