That really sucks. D: Is there nothing but the medication to help relieve the pain a little?

I'm taking hydrocodone, naproxen (Aleve, only in prescription strength, like, twice the recommended amount on over the counter bottles), and all the gabapentin they can stuff in me.

Hopefully they'll find out what causes fibromyalgia and a cure soon. :c

Does fibro last for the rest of your life once you get it? D:

There is no cure, so yes, it does last your entire life.

Or there's people who say they got rid of it, and they did something I know won't work for me.

I got given a med specifically for fibro, and all it did was make me so much worse. I had to essentially be carried into my doctor appointment after taking the month supply he told me to use.

It is shit where you're pretty sure the person was faking in the first place, or were just outright liars. I had one person inform me that if I ate vegan, it would solve it (Hint: it did not) another said wearing crystals would help (Hint: This is stupid)

I can see the vegan one working for some, but it did not help me at all. And yeah, crystals won't magically solve a medical condition. Idiots.

I always wanted a safety muzzle like that, figured it would make me far more approachable in public. I mean, if I can't bite them, I'm practically harmless, right?

God I'm scared [cry] It's been announced to close all shops tomorrow (and for the common folks to get all their groceries tonight) and to hang white flags out of all the shops. What for, I wonder? To show that we surrender, or something? I don't know, but I'm kinda scared.

Maybe it's some sort of way of saying, "we're not the enemy" or something...

I'm praying for you, by the way, and have been since I heard about all of it.

And me, a writer? I like to think so... I write under a different name, and my stuff isn't anything to be proud of anyway, so I'll probably not do anything remotely resembling promotional posts or plugging, besides it being kind of wrong to do that here, but I write horror and trashy romances, and sometimes I even try to write trashy romantic horror.

I'm not famous or Stephen King in disguise or anything, just a writer.

But I want to be a good one.

Please don't be too frightened by all the horrible stuff out there, and I hope and pray that whatever it is that has protected me from all the horrible things that could so easily have happened to me in my life will watch over you and yours and your neighbors and that you'll be safe and always here for me to talk to.

If I wish hard enough, everyone I care about will be safe. It's my magical power.
