Gor, I gotta see that.

I love me some baked monkeys.

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:00 AM

[rofl] [rofl] [rofl]
It would taste human, I guess. We evolved from monkeys after all [insane]

McNugget 07-22-2014 12:05 AM

I doubt we evolved from monkeys. I agree that we are in the same class as monkeys, and biologically we belong in the ape family, but that doesn't mean we formed from monkeys. Just like how there are different types of reptiles, there are different types of apes. It's like saying a lizard HAD to be a snake first and grew legs. It doesn't just work like that. If it did, then why didn't all snakes turn into lizards and why didn't all monkeys turn into humans? That's my logic~

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:06 AM

Did I just stumble back in during a theological discussion?

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:07 AM

Lexa is not believing in evolution either [lol] For one thing, religion doesn't support evolution, and also' it's crazy to think that life originated by some mistake or something.

---------- Post added 07-22-2014 at 05:37 AM ----------

Pappy - We were wondering how monkeys taste like [insane]

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:11 AM

Oh is that all ...

I believe in .. oh what was it called? Supervised evolution? Or something like that? Where it's kind of a mix between both theories..

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:13 AM

I haven't jeard of supervised evolution [:O]

LOOK WHAT I JUST READ [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] [insane]

Senor Donayre ... was an interesting man. At one time the German firm for which he worked on the Purus sent him to the Putumayo to contact Indians on that river, learn their language, and report on the chances of rubber and trade. In one large tribe he was given a wife, and stayed with them for two years.
"These people were cannibals," he said, "and many a time I have seen bits of men - white men - cooked. They didn't care to much for eating whites - man of other Indian tribes were preferred. The taste is rather like monkey meat."

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:13 AM

I think life began as a coincidence, rather than a mistake...considering I don't believe in the concept of good and evil and I believe that if there are higher beings that we would identify as gods, they probably could care less about lesser beings like us.

---------- Post added 07-22-2014 at 08:14 AM ----------

Ohh...so humans DO taste like monkeys! [XD]

...Does that mean monkeys taste sort of like fish? [ninja]

McNugget 07-22-2014 12:14 AM

^Agreeing 100%

Also, why would anyone want to eat a monkey? [gonk]
Just... No.

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:15 AM

So monkey meat, fish and humans taste all the same!
That brings me back to what Gizzy mentioned somewhere else, let me dig go dig it..

VeraDark 07-22-2014 12:16 AM

We're alla bunch of baked monkeys, not getting near enough to taste, and sharing Oreos with Vicky for her bachelorette.

Does it make sense now? XD

Oh, goody!

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:16 AM

Well it's basically where evolution was directed by 'God' to follow 'his' plan. I mean come on, how else would life have started spontaneously through one-celled organisms? Something, or someone, had to give things a nudge.

Well that's an interesting read.

So.. chicken = monkey = human = fish
[insane]

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:16 AM

Well, I imagine people who live in rain forests and such would eat monkeys since it's just another source of food...[XD]

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:17 AM

Sooo everything tastes like everything else?

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:17 AM

So why eat everything?!

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:18 AM

They all have their individual taste and unique textures and stuff, but people like to compare things so I guess that's the closest things they could compare it too? Sort of like how people tend to say that most things they've never tried before tastes like chicken. [lol]

Because people like food and if it's edible, someone will try to eat it. [ninja]

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:18 AM

Apparently frog legs taste like chicken. XD

Q U E E N 07-22-2014 12:19 AM

I've had frog legs before and I can confirm. They've got a really similar texture, and the flavor is kind of like a cross between chicken and fish. If you cook them yourself though, their tendons can contract and they'll actually jump out of the frying pan. [lol]

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:19 AM

I don't think frog tastes like chicken...it tastes like frog. [lol] Or maybe the times I tried frog it just tasted weird because of the flavoring or something...

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:19 AM

*shrieks and runs away*
FROG LEGS?

PapillonCameo 07-22-2014 12:20 AM

I've never tried frog before. I've had lamb though.

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:21 AM

I like mutton. [drool]

I used to think frog legs are scary too, but after trying it a couple of times it wasn't too bad. Ants, on the other hand...[lol]

Lexadis 07-22-2014 12:23 AM

I don't like mutton, I feel that they kind of.. smell [ninja]
I've had rabbit and deer, but that's the only out of the ordinary I've had, not frog legs or like Ant here once mentioned.. chicken feet [insane]

Antagonist 07-22-2014 12:24 AM

Really? The mutton I have usually aren't too bad, I've only had the kind that are gamey occasionally.

Chicken feet is awesome!! It's super tasty if cooked right! [illgetu]

I don't think I've had rabbit yet, though deer is quite good. [drool]
