That's actually a normal post for me... somewhere in the 100s, but closer to 1000. I've written 2000+ word posts for an RP before too. But the person I was RPing with preferred the longest posts possible. It made it a little difficult when actions happened between characters.

I took me a couple hours to write? But I took a few breaks in between, so it seemed longer. It does take a lot of time to read, but it also enriches the story as a whole.

Yeah, but like you said, it does make having actions happen in between characters a bit more difficult after such a long and descriptive post.

I think the longest posts I've done for RPs was still less than 1000+ words...I haven't kept count. ;;

o.o I come to explore dis thread and I see something about 2000 word posts. no thanks. I don't do one liners anymore but I can't be the descriptive. I would be repeating crap.
