He did wear my six inch peep toe pumps for one of the pictures. He and I happen to have the same size feet, kind of crazy like that.

I feel remiss in the fact that I haven't ever really chatted with you before, Siipu. See you around, don't think our paths have really crossed before now.

Siipu 07-06-2016 03:04 PM

Wow. [lol]
Did his feet hurt after wearing those?

We might have talked during an event a few years back if i remember right.
But yeah, don't think we have really chatted.

Since during events everything is crazy fast. [lol]

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 03:27 PM

He only wore the shoes for a few minutes, just enough time for a photo op and then they came off. Hell, I didn't wear them for long at the party. They aren't really good for standing around for hours on end. Heels of that size are good for a few things, looking good for a few minutes, gaining the height advantage on someone you want to intimidate and to make a short girl tall enough for certain sexual positions.

I know I have seen you out and about the site, and it does seem rather plausible that we conversed during an event a time or two in the past.

In fast threads it's easiest for me to converse with a few key people and throw out random comments now and than to others. Helps keep me from getting bogged down in the post overload.

Siipu 07-06-2016 03:34 PM

Yeah, I can only imagine the pain if you wear those kind of heels
for a long period of time.
I wore 5 inch heels once for a day.
Didn't actually hurt my feet at all.

Yeah, I've seen you around a lot too.

Yeah, same here.

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 04:00 PM

Recently I discovered wedge heels and let me tell you, those I can stand in for the better part of a day. Much better support on the feet and they don't leave your legs feeling as tired. Love them!

May I inquire as to why you wore five inch heels for a day?

Roachi and I will be heading up a joint giveaway thread during the next event, should you want to stop by. Will do my best to ping you there so you can check it out.

Threads during events move so fast...you blink sometimes and two or three pages have gone by. Blows my mind.

Siipu 07-06-2016 04:07 PM

Well, I'm glad you've found heels you can actually
wear without getting pain. c:

It was my friend's hen night.
I was dressed as a prostitute and a friend of mine was my pimp. [lol]
I also had a long blonde wig, pink/black dress, pink stockings and those black heels.

Please do ping me.
I'm pretty sure Roro will, but better to be safe than sorry. :p

I know right. But it's fun tho.

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 04:59 PM

Love that you dressed up as a prostitute! Nothing like a guy being comfortable with himself as a man to dress as a woman.

Now as comfortable as my husband is with his manhood, when I asked him if he ever thought of being a girl...let's just say I am surprised that his eyeballs didn't fall out of his head with how wide his eyes got. Apparently guys don't think about stuff like that, not like girls do. Truthfully, I think it would be awesome to live a week as the opposite sex. If for nothing else, the ability to pee standing up and write my name in the snow.

Won't find me walking around Disneyland in wedge heels, but they are pleasant enough for a work day.

Siipu 07-06-2016 05:20 PM

It was fun.
And as I said, I've never been one to care about what others think about me.
I grew up as the only openly gay at my home town, which is a small one at that,
I was bound the get shouted at and stuff.

I've noticed the same thing, that guys doesn't think that as much as girls do.

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 05:46 PM

There are times that I tease my husband, telling him that if he wasn't married to me I would think he was gay. Thankfully he isn't. [lol] He even likes to get pedicures done and his toes painted. Such a sweetie.

Kind of rough growing up in a small town, this is speaking from personal experience. How big was the town you grew up in?

Siipu 07-06-2016 05:53 PM

Well, I appreciate a man that is in touch of his feminine side too
and isn't ashamed of it. The uber masculine guys are annoying as f. [lol]

Yeah it is.
When I lived there there was like 10k people?
The surface area is large. Backwoods kinda town.
But it was the kind of town where everyone knows each other.

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 07:17 PM

Small town living is great for security, sense of neighborhood and peace of mind. Everyone tends to know everyone. But that also means they know everything you are doing and there is always some level of gossip. The small town I lived in was only 5500 people when we lived there and in the twenty years since we moved, it has only grown to 7700 people. Which will be changing here pretty soon. Seems the little town is tired of being little and there are all kinds of fast food places going in, along with a few more businesses.

Good for the local economy, not so good on the minds of the locals already there. My friend told me that she didn't realize just how many drifters and bums have accumulated in town until she started her new job. Kind of shocked her a bit.

Manly men have their places in this world too...they are yummy to look at. [yes]

My tiara broke. *cries*

Queen_Andais 07-06-2016 09:49 PM

[gonk] The horror, Amane! The sheer horror!

Yeah exactly.
Well, when I was born, i think there were around 8000 people living in my hometown
but during the years it grew.
Yeah, the gossip. People tends to know your business better than you. I think there's only
one fast food place in my hometown. [lol]

Oh yea, totally. [drool]
I meant the personality not the looks.
Like showing your emotions etc. Not that "real men don't cry" bullshit.

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 02:13 PM

There are times when I miss living in a small town. It's where I grew up until the age of 12, so it made quite an impression. If the small town wasn't in California that would be where I'd want to raise our hypothetical children.

Did not want to roll out of bed this morning, it's been like that for me all week. Coming back to a normal routine after vacationing for over a week is a bitch.

Also need to remember to get my Deadpool movie back from my manager sometime this week...really want to watch it.

Siipu 07-07-2016 02:17 PM

I know how you feel.
I mean, I looove my hometown, but I most likely won't be moving back there.
I lived there for 22 years.

I had my first day after vacation today too. Was on a vacation for 2.5 weeks.

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 02:30 PM

Lucky! Two and half weeks, that's amazing! It's more time off than I get in a year. Only bummer about starting a new job is starting at the bottom of the vacation time. Oh well.

Was it a staycation for you, or did you go somewhere for the two and half weeks?

Siipu 07-07-2016 02:38 PM

Well, I'm left with 15 vacation days, but I have no time to
have vacation, since I'm leaving my job in a month.

Well, I was in my hometown for 1.5 weeks and after that
we were in Prague for 5 days with a friend. [yes]

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 04:09 PM

Wow! How long have you been at your job that you get that much time off?

Never been to Prague...hell, I've never been outside of the United States.

Siipu 07-07-2016 04:14 PM

If you work full time you're entitled for 30 vacation days per year.
So you earn 2.5 vacation days per month. *nods*

This was my first time in Prague too.
it was amazing. c:

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 04:31 PM

Definitely need to move out of this country and find one that is better. Not sure I want to live here after the next election. Not a fan of either candidate. Scary.

Which country do you live in again?

Siipu 07-07-2016 04:59 PM

Yeah, I don't blame you. D:

I live in Finland. [yes]

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 05:37 PM

What's the weather like there? Cause I would like a place that has seasons...and the language you speak? Safe to assume that English isn't your first language there.

Siipu 07-07-2016 05:49 PM

We have all the four seasons. This summer has been quite warm, for once.
The summer has been sucky for a few years now.
But in the winter we have loads of snow.

We speak Finnish, they say it's one of the hardest languages to learn.

Queen_Andais 07-07-2016 06:51 PM

I don't know, Russian was a real pain in the ass to learn. Whole separate alphabet for them. Sheesh.

As long as the summers there aren't like they are here in Arizona. There is hot and then there is "HOLY SHIT MY FEET ARE BURNING AND MY SKIN IS MELTING" hot, that's Arizona hot. Snow is something that appeals to me very much.

Now to find a job there. Also need to check about getting my passport and what becoming a citizen of Finland entails. No sense half assing it, if I am moving, I am moving there to stay.
