Thank you very much. It seems that I've got a lot to do with the onset of spring! People, for some reason, wanting me to take care of their yard. Sometimes I almost forget myself.

Ah, yes.
My mom is starting up on our yard again.
She's been nagging my dad about buying grass for our backyard, since it's dead beyond repair.

Well my dad used to work in the yards, so he knows a lot about this stuff.
It should be no problem getting the grass back to it's glorious self.

oh ok! he should come to my house! :lol: just kidding, our grass looks ok. i think the old people that lived here had really nice grass at one time. then some weird couple moved in and killed everything and tore the house up, now we are here fixing it. haha. well trying.. >.>

Our front lawn needs huge work..
When we were getting our house built, the guys working on it left rocks (More like cement pieces) in the yard, placed grass, then planted an oak tree.
Needless to say our oak tree is very very small and it's been over ten years now.
But, going through the process of removing every plant/ tearing up the yard, removing the rocks... planting again..
So much money!

Oh gosh it is a lot of money! that's horrible, why did leave all the cement pieces laying around? :(

I don't know why they did that.
We found out when my dad was removing a few patches of grass.
He thought it was just that one, but then he found more and more chunks.
We think the tree is sitting on a huge piece of cement.

poor tree. no wonder it's so small!

I feel so bad for the tree!
I just wish we could remove all the pieces of cement, then our yard would be ten times more beautiful.

No, mom plants them.
My dad buys the necessary stuff, takes care of the grass, cuts the hedges, things like that.
The only hard work my mom does is the planting, my dad takes care of the rest basically.

oh ok! my mom doesn't do any of it! haha. my dad likes to plant lots of stuff... so now he's buying and stuff and says he doesn't have room or already has it and brings it to my house. :rofl:

Yeah, my mom loves having a garden, she just doesn't like the process of making it all pretty and stuff.
My mom just likes to give orders. Lol.

haha that sounds fun... i like giving orders too. :lol:

I do too, but sometimes I end up doing it myself.
I'm terribly picky about how I want things done. xD
