I usually just change the numbers. Why would they even have a '13-'14 so soon? Eh, some questions...

Yes it does. I'm about to add another from the perspective of a zombie, you might like that one.

I don't even know. I'll just have to deal with it.

Ooh, sounds interesting!
I'll definitely have to read it.

Take a bad situation and make it good. That's how you do it.

Well, it's up there! It's definitely getting some more immediate ideas I can't act on into a written state.

Yeah, that's what my grandma always taught me.

I'll take a look when I get back from picking up my mom from work.

I guess we grew up on the same terms.

All right! I'm just... going to write more... I mean... Right. Right! I'll be waiting!

I am back!
And I have read the stories.
I like both a lot.
If I had to pick a story to continue reading it would Differences Can Kill.
I enjoyed reading that one.
The Zombie one was pretty cool too, though.

You're back! I'm so glad!
I'm also glad you like the little drabbles. They're not necessarily stories, but both would certainly make nice short-stories. I don't know, I just don't write short stories. It's too hard for me to cut things short, or end it.
Anyway, if you'd like to add, feel free! It's for everyone.

Thank you.
Ah, well I like your drabbles!
Never heard of that term though, to be honest.

Well, I'm glad! I'll have to add more, more often then.
Honestly, I never had either, until I'd come here and looked up the term. I knew what 'drabble on' means, to go on and on about something. Never really thought to add the concept to stories, little snippets and the like.

Oh haha.
It's cool sounding word. I like it.
I'd probably be better off writing snippets than full blown stories anyways.

I like it too. Nice word.

Then that's where you should start! Work on little snippets, it doesn't matter if you start in the middle or the beginning. best to just write and see how it is, and end it quickly. Well, all right, I seemed to have started a couple near or at the beginning, and tried to cram a lot of information in a small area. I'll have to change that around a bit.

I'm good with that, starting from the middle preferably.
Starting from the beginning isn't something I'm good at. Lol.
Maybe I'll end up writing snippets during class or something.
I wrote a small story for a contest once in the Lit forum.
I need to rewrite it though. It's full of typos.

I love starting a story. I just think about what's to come, then decide to start in the middle of a situation that can be explained soon, but later on in the story.
It can be anything from a random couple paragraphs to a dozen or two. I've seen drabbles that stretched fifteen paragraphs.
You wrote in the lit forum? I didn't know the Lit forum, or people there, anyway, hosted contests! I mean, if I had, I wouldn't have noticed. I don't usually do contests... But still, a contest! What was it about?

I usually don't know how to start stories.
That always takes me forever, so when I start in the middle I can write a beginning.
Those are some long drabbles. I doubt I'll get 15 paragraphs.. unless they're each only five or six sentences long.
I did. Well the contest wasn't in the Lit forum.
It was to win an item, but part of the contest was to post in different parts of Menewsha.

Roza; There are times I actually start a story where one ends. Then I recap the story before while going over the current one. That way it's strange and interesting at the same time, and keeps me wanting to write more.
I usually have to force myself to cut something short or stop it before I'd like to. Otherwise it's not a drabble anymore as much as a full-fledged story chapter.
Oof, I wouldn't have made that contest. There are specific areas of Mene I dwell in to post, while others are just fantasy for me.

Kisu; Bah, that's no fun. Free time is what makes the world go 'round! Or, my world.
I've been pretty well, finally getting my Internet back on my computer. Yes! Happy days are here again! I hope you're as well as I am.

So how's it going?

Yes, warnings are better than none! I'll agree to that.

It's been good. Now I'm back almost full-time here, lurking mainly when I'm not off helping others with their yards. Sad, sad life of a recluse. Hopefully things are good with you?

Ah makes sense. I'm reading a book, of course. Called The Sharing Knife - Legacy it's the second book in the series. Yes it involved romance but ... It serves the purpose of bringing the reader deeper into the story, and helps introduce them to a whole new culture trough the eyes of someone they can relate to.

See, this farmer woman ends up with a Lakewalker, they've got this sense of everything alive, kind of like empathy, and have a culture all their own with quirks and things only they can do. The sharing knives are one of them. Anyway, trough the fact that the farmer doesn't know anything, the author gives herself an excuse to explain things to the reader.
