I'd be annoyed too.
But, at least you're okay. Maybe you should go take a warm shower, or you might catch a cold. I played some Tekken 6 earlier today, sort of helped and I watched a funny video which cheered me up quite a bit. But then, my dad forgot to mention that our cousin was coming over to take our pool. I wasn't asked if this was okay, or even told that this was happening. I'm... a very possessive girl when it comes to things that belong to me and or my family. Ruined my slightly good mood. And now I'm bothering you with telling you all this. You probably think I'm being unreasonable. I probably am. I am so sorry. I'll stop talking now... |
Meh. I've had my windows open all day so it's still pretty warm. I'm mostly dry now anyway.
Huh, really? That's annoying. I know if I'd had something taken when I wasn't told I'd be especially angry too! It's not unreasonable. Maybe I'm possessive too, but I can be on your side about that. So don't stop talking now! |
Alrighty, hopefully no cold then. :3
Yeah, it's severely annoying. Apparently my mom asked my siblings if they wanted the pool to be set up this year and they said no. So, some how that translated into giving it away... Thank you. I thought, I might have been being unreasonable or something. Sometimes I can be... overly dramatic about certain things. |
No cold. The sun dried me halfway when I for once took a break from going back to the world of the Internet and laid out in the direct sunlight like a dead person.
That doesn't do well! How does it manage to turn over from 'no, not this year' to 'no, not ever! Get rid of the vile thing!' The only 'petty' thing I ever really got annoyed about was when one of my parents decided to take my favorite rug from the room my siblings and I shared. It was an old thing and covered most of the laid carpeting, but I liked it, I guess, just for its being there. Is that unreasonable? Because I didn't think so! |
That sounds like fun. Sunbathing almost.
I get headaches from the sun though, so I can't be out in direct sunlight for too long. I don't know, but I told my dad about it, and he felt bad. He said he should have asked if it was okay before he had gone and gave it away. That doesn't sound unreasonable at all. I'd be pretty upset about that as well. I feel that way about things that are mine or things that just belong in a certain place. I hate when friends or family members enter my room and automatically start touching everything. I have a desk, full of Manga books that are neatly organized. People seem to think that they can just come in, grab a book, flip through it, and not place it back where it goes. |
Heh, I don't like direct sun either. Naturally I pulled a hat over my face so it wouldn't be too direct. Nice and dark while I dry!
I suppose he didn't mean to. Lets some of the betrayal ebb a bit, I guess. I'd assume my parents got rid of it because they considered the item owned by them, and since it was covered with a combination of all our things, they just got rid of it. Which really irked me. I hate that too! I'd gone far enough to write a bolded note and put it on my most prized items that said: "If you touch, put it back! Warning! If you fail to put it back, I'll take something of yours." I wanted to add that I'd bury it in the yard, but there wasn't enough room. After a couple missing items, however, they come to realize "Oh, I'd better not touch a damn thing of Giz's!" Also, because my parents wanted to make my name more ridiculous, they tended to call me Gizzy and Giz. |
I should invest in a hat then. o 3o I don't have any.
It could come in handy. No, he didn't. It just hurt that he didn't consider my feelings first. But I'm like that with other things too. A post-it note! That's probably what I need for my books, video games, art supplies... pretty much everything else. Burying it would of been a nice warning too. Well eventually they learn, that's always a good thing. I still can't believe your parents named you Gizmo... I mean of all possible names. And they had nicknames, that's just horrible. |
My hat:
http://www.doubleleafcap.com/photo/2...at_220x220.jpg It's my baby. Hopefully he'll learn from this mistake and ask you beforehand. Especially if it's something you like! Post-its work. I just used a red permanent marker and white paper. Taped it to the container that held my most prized or loved possessions. Heh, we had a lot of land, so each time I gave them one clue: A red triangle nailed to the ground where their thing was. Eventually they found it, but the whole searching, digging, and cleaning it up made them learn quick! Well... I'd consider it better than Eggman. I mean, if I had a choice I'd choose Gizmo, even if it meant being named after a twitchy little dog. |
Oh hey! My dad has a hat like that, except it's solid khaki.
He uses it when he's out mowing the lawn. I hope so too. I'd hate to get upset at him again. I don't like being upset with my dad. Post-its and sharpies are so much fun! Perfect for warning notes. Nice and bright, while stating a point. Oh gosh, Haha. I bet they learned real quick! Anyone would get tired of having to go digging up their things, but it's not like they could get mad about it. They were warned! Named after a little dog and you grow up to be really tall. How ironic. o. o; |
I used to have a khaki one. But I got this one about ten years ago and I love it more. Plus I lost the other one a few months before buying the camo one......
I wear it most of the time, so it's pretty beat up now. True, I'd think all kids don't want to be upset with their parents, or vice versa. Once while a friend was staying around my place, for lack of a better area to rest, I'd put warning notes in certain areas written on post its. One letter to one post it. Mainly it wrote out "NO TOUCH" And it was heeded. They got mad anyway, but since they were more than eight years younger than me, I yelled back in Italian, which they couldn't understand. It scared them so they eventually stopped both calling me out and touching and stealing from me. I'd say it's ironic. I mean, if he were still alive he'd probably not be half my foot size. Also, THUNDER! THUNDER! It's been so damn bright out lately and I've suddenly heard thunder! |
Ah, I see.
I like both, the khaki and camo one. But as long as they kept the sun out of my face, any colour would be fine with me. My dad's hat is pretty old too, he needs a new one really. Yup. I mean, I can't stay mad at my parents for long. I'm usually known for holding grudges... but not with my parents. Normally I listen to little warning notes, but I get curious. Which gets me into lots of trouble. owo I don't touch, but I get pretty close. Oh gosh, Haha. Well at least they learned. No one likes being yelled at. owo Especially in a language they don't understand. Wow, that's a huge difference in size. o .o It's probably teasing you like it did here a few days ago. I heard thunder all of a sudden and then minutes later it stopped and nothing happened. |
Hm, my hat actually, for some reason, reminded me of a sim I was going to make of the updated me! Since I've decided to make very slight changes to my appearance. Mainly my hair, really. But you know, hair can make a person look... very different.
I try to keep a hat as long as I possibly can. I've been known for patching and stitching something when it gets very old. True. I've tried not to stay mad at my parents, but they're almost intolerable! Especially nowadays, in... their advancing ages. I'd assume they feel fifty or so is especially old. I hate seeing a 'do not' type note. Like 'don't press the button' or 'don't touch the something'. Because I want to so bad! Mainly if it's off limits to everyone, not just certain people. I'd... definitely agree. When I couldn't speak German it was a horrifying experience to be yelled at in that language! it sounds horribly angry even when you're happy! Heh, right... Have you ever been in a place, or room, really, in which you feel like everything's oddly small? Or miniaturized? More often than not that's how I feel. Holding a kitten is like holding a tiny stuffed animal! No, it's pouring. I mean, really, pouring. My television cut out, so I'm in the quiet. I'm going to start a record! |
Howdy everyone ^_^ Just passing through this evening... watching Star Trek... just starting season 4

Oh yes, hair can definitely make someone look quite different. I've never played Sims, well except for the facebook app, but that phase died real soon. Haha. But hats are awesome, I have a picture on my facebook with me wearing a lavender one. I look so ridiculous, but I still love the picture. The only thing I've actually patched were a few snags that Mr. Rabbit had. It's not hard staying mad at parents at some points. Especially with my mom. She knows I anger easily and she pushes my buttons on purpose. She's lucky I've got more self control than she realizes, or I honestly think we would get into a nasty fight. *Sigh* My dad seems to get irritated more often as he gets older. He used to have this insane sense of patience and now it's slowly fading. That reminds of 'Do Not Disturb' signs on hotel room doors. o wo Makes me want to obnoxiously knock and then when they answer say I have the wrong number. I've heard German being spoken before, and it does sound angry. I wouldn't want to get yelled at in German, even being yelled at in Spanish by my father can be scary. Or maybe that's just me being overly sensitive, since he rarely ever yells at me. Haha. Hmm, no can't say that I have. owo I am relatively small myself, so I see things as bigger than smaller most times. Oh gosh, owo I hope the TV didn't fry. Our has before when a storm is going on and the TV cuts out. A record? o: Hiii Maiden and Sensia! |
And it does! I just recreated myself in the Sims and... I look a lot different. Of course that’s comparing this with the one I made.... Oh, eight months ago.
I love the Sims. I make my RP characters mainly, then sometimes play with them and add my Sim-self into the mix, just to see how it’d be. Lavender? I didn’t know they made these kinds of hats in lavender! I thought it was just... You know, plain or neutral color, or varying types of camouflage. Huh. I’ve only ever had to take a needle and thread to Dead Bunny. Never a patch. But I feel I should re-stuff him. The stuffing he’s got is a month older than I am, so... It’s compacted into the bottom of his legs and feet from where I’ve grown to hold him in one arm throughout the years. Seems mothers do that a lot. I’m still angry at her for knowingly doing or saying something that would just... smack me over and get me immediately angered. I think she actually liked doing that! What a sadist. I suppose that’s just what happens to people as they age. Either they get more patience, or lose what they already have. Oh! Oh, let me tell you something! Once I was on a vacation with the family and my doctor had given me anti-anxiety medication. It worked so well (but everything was in a dream-like state so it was as if I weren’t even doing what I was doing). We were staying at a hotel for a couple days to regroup before going on, and I saw one of those... signs... on a closed door... I stepped up to it, got very close, and started knocking rapidly and loudly, and I remember saying something along the lines of “Hey! What’cha doing? Open the door open the door open the door......” And so on until they did. Then I came to my senses and ran back to my room and locked the door...... I can yell in German now! So I do when I want to scare someone away from bothering me. I wouldn’t be overly sensitive. You’re rarely yelled at by your father so you’d be put off when he does. That’s all. Eh, it works either way. Big things seem small to me, I suppose, and smaller things seem big to you. No, it’s just the satellite. Cuts out a lot even when there’s a badly overcast sky and wind. Yes, a record! On my gramophone. |
Oh yeah? I never really made myself on Sims. Just a random character and usually forgot about her.
How close can you make a Sim look like the real you? o wo No no no, not a hat like that. It was different hat that I was trying on at a store a few years back. I almost bought it too, but I had no use for it. Mr. Rabbit is still evenly stuffed. He gets regular washes and I always make sure his stuffing is in place. My mom tells me she likes upsetting me, because she knows I anger easily and she knows I won't do anything. One day, that won't be the case, she's getting closer to crossing the line with me. Hahahaha! Oh my gosh, I so wish I could have been there! I can only yell in English and Spanish. It would be nice if I could yell in German. o .o That would definitely come in handy. I've only yelled at my dad once, and that was because he yelled at me for no reason. He assumed that I had done something wrong. Sometimes I do find certain things big because my hands are small, so I stare at the item and wonder if it's just me or if it's actually suppose to be that size. Oh those kinds. I don't like satellite for that reason only. You've a got gramophone? That's pretty cool. O: |
I tend to make my friends and myself on the Sims. And I keep the number of characters short unless they’re just there so I can capture some images for later use as RP or solo writing characters.
I can actually make a Sim look exactly like myself, as long as I have a reflective surface to identify the specifics. Luckily the Sims store is constantly updated and I’ve got a lot of hairstyles that resemble mine to near perfection. Oh! I thought that was a little… weird. Unless it’d been dyed specifically that color by whoever bought it. Well, after almost thirty four years of being lost and found from a mass of little siblings, it’s only to be expected that the stuffing (which was lacking in the beginning because it’s basically a rag doll) would separate and compact. God, I hate that. I have other relatives who do that to me. Specifically target me to bother because they know I’ll eventually get angry because it’s intentional. They did it the other weekend, and they’ll do it next weekend I don’t doubt. If it happens then I’ve resolved to actually do something about it. I wish I could have been there too! Whoever was in my body it wasn’t me, because I wouldn’t have done that. Have you ever tried yelling in French? It doesn’t sound angry at all. I kind of avoid trying to sound angry in that language. I can pick up a basketball in one hand. Not a lot of things are big to me, except… me. Ahh! I don’t want to be tall anymore! Take away a foot! Eh. I didn’t miss it. It’s rare I watch actual television. Hm… I thought I’d told you about it. Must have been in a different thread. |
I kind of want to try to make myself a Sim now. o wo I wonder how close I can get to making it look like me.
The stores must be filled with tons of things though. Yeah, it would be a bit odd. Haha. I wouldn't mind a hot pink one though. Well at least he's not in pieces. ow o He needs new stuffing so that it doesn't separate. Only my parents, well mainly my mom, is the only one who really messes with me like that. I don't hold back with others when they try to anger me on purpose, I stop them quick. You know, I tried picking up a basketball with one hand once...never happened. xD I like my height now. I used to be 'tall' in junior high though, then high school came around and I was the same height, while everyone else had grown taller. I normally don't watch TV, it's just on for background noise. Even when I have music playing, the TV is on. You probably did... and I forgot. I am quite forgetful sometimes. I am sorry. >.< |
