I hate endings! I never think of them. But the RPs I've been in aren't even past page five yet. It's horribly boring waiting days, or a week, at a time.

Rp's around here, from what I hear, can be quite slow. Sometimes I'll lurk in the Role playing forum and read a few posts. When I think of endings, I get really sad, especially if I like what I'm reading or watching. |
I usually lurk around, and see people who seem to be very active. Then suddenly they're not when we've decided on an RP.
Oh, do you consider yourself a good writer, Roza? Perhaps we can work on one that will never end! Or will end when it's just time for them to end. |
Yeah, I've heard of that from some people that look for RP partners. They find one and then suddenly their partner disappears from the face of the planet. lol. Me? Oh no, not all. Lol. I don't have experience with writing, except essays in high school and some in college. I tried RPing once and I failed miserably. It also didn't help that it was a group RP. :gonk: |
I think it's me. Because then I usually see them on, then going here and there and gone again. So I just forget it.
I always avoid group RPs. Mainly for that reason. I prefer something more intricate with one other person. But if you have an interest at all in writing, or want to learn, I've been called a very good teacher. I learned from Dexter, so that says a lot right there. Can always do a practice run. |

Well everyone starts somewhere! I started somewhere. All right, I just jumped right into it, but it was natural for me. We all have to begin a journey, or it'll never go anywhere. Besides, you're familiar with me, aren't you? I'm an RP person!
But if you don't quite know if you like something or not, you have to try it. Art, writing, sculpting... Or gardening! I used to question it, now I love working with my plants. I used to be a horrible writer, but I worked at it a bit and now I'm thinking up new plots every hour. I love describing different places, different characters, it just puts my best foot forward. Yes, practice run! A test, more or less, to see how well you work while using your own character, putting things you've seen into play, perhaps in a PM series so terrible mistakes can be hidden from everyone else... |
True. >.< I just never really fully explored that area. I've always been terribly shy. & True! You are an RP person. :D I love art. owo Drawing, is something I'm confident in. That's as far as my artistic abilities go. I've never really thought about gardening, even though that's what my mom does starting every Spring. It's just, I've never been confident in my writing, despite my English teachers saying I was good at it. That's probably my main problem.. describing things. Description is not my forte. I have trouble describing things. Not only in writing, but when speaking as well. Which is why sometimes I don't make sense when I try explaining something to people online. :lol: Well first, I think I would need a character, no? o.o I don't think I have one. |

In the drawing area I'm... lacking in. Terrible, really. That's why I prefer my writing ability to describe a character or scene. Although considering what I see now, you're a very good writer. You just need to slow down if you have trouble or are confusing in explaining things. With writing, you can slow down and reread something before anyone else sees it. Oh yes, you'll need a character. I already have mine, don't worry about that. I tend to have one before an RP is even considered, know? But perhaps we should speak of this elsewhere, if we speak more of RPs. Wouldn't want the thread moved or considered an RP or writing discussion. |
I did! With me, I use the art of drawing to express what I feel rather than words. Well, I'm glad to know that you think I'm a good writer. Certainly helps my confidence boost meter. >.< I do slow down.. a lot. More than I should.! I tend to type what I want to say and then delete it because I either think it's not a good idea or if I'm searching for words to describe what I want to say. Needless to say, I use the backspace quite often. Hmm, I should probably make a default character of some sort. That should be fun for someone who has trouble with deciding on anything. Some scenes I describe with words I know I can't draw. Nature scenes, rooms, and characters in general. My words are better than my pencil handling. I tend to type so quickly I use the backspace all the time, generally putting too many letters into a word or for some reason spazzing for a moment and typing gibberish for no real reason.
Well, considering the first part will be a test run, a default character should be used as to not create a dislike for the character rather than the situation. Then you can work on your character and perfect it, perhaps even make it you, however you wanted to be in the past. Shall we take the continuing conversation to visitor message or PM to continue? I have no idea! I'd thought I filled in the contest post a bit too early. Seems you'll be the one to get the prize, though. |
I'm better at drawing characters than scenery. Unless it's a really simple setting, I'm still trying to perfect my drawings after all. Sometimes when I type my left hand types faster than my right hand, so words come out all wonky. Lol. If I were to create a character, she would definitely be nothing like me.. well maybe being shy, but that's probably it. >.< A character of me would be so boring. Hmm, PM's would be fine with me. :3 Well who knows. Someone could come in and snipe in for the prize. Haha. Although.. it is rather late for some people I'm guessing. o.o Just about 12: 30 AM here. |
