Damia Flagg 09-05-2015 12:04 AM

At one point I had a cookbook for different ways to serve ramen while I was in college.

For-Chan Cookie 09-05-2015 12:05 AM

It's fine hummy. I already have the program open. Gotta make things so I don't get rusty after all :) I'll make one that is big, but small. Best of both worlds! Oh, and full of hummies of course. *nods*

@Damia - Thanks!
Still in denial about hairy bananas I see...

I've seen cookbooks like that amazon [yes]

Damia Flagg 09-05-2015 12:07 AM

My brother would just open up a can of tomato sauce & add some seasonings to it then put it over the ramen like it was spaghetti.

I like to add seasoning to mine sometimes: turmeric, sea salt, garlic (minced & powder), onion flakes, ground pepper, paprika, etc [ninja]

Cookie ~ I like the banner.
Also happy to see you without the banana costume on.

Hummy ~ When is the next RAK thread gonna open?
The old one has been locked.

Gwena ~ Have both.
Drain off the excess liquid from the ramen & put the chicken nuggets on top.

RAK V was supposed to close
but after Aya posted in RAK VI
i caught Neph and missed Aya
Aya only has one post on page two
so i'd like for her to have a few on two
Aya is online but maybe AFK?
do you need to go

For-Chan Cookie 09-05-2015 12:14 AM

Ramen is flexible, but ramen cookbooks where they turn ramen into cookies and pudding is rather ridiculous and weird. I used the noodles from a ramen package to make a quick stir fry and my roommates looked at me like I'd committed a murder for doing something as obvious and easy as that. Look guys, I didn't make you ramen pudding, so chill!

@Damia - That denial is just not healthy! You have to let it out. *nods*

hummy 09-05-2015 12:19 AM

my brain is fried

oh, fried banana chips

Actually I was asking because I would like to post Pirate Booty on page 2 if you don't mind.
It would be nice to have a place for the prize closet early in the thread.

My brain is fried too. This banner is going to give me trouble. I'll bend it to my will though. Trouble is there are too many ideas!

I don't think I would want to try ramen pudding or cookies.
I'm happy in de nile. [insane]
The ramen cookbook is great for any college kid, but I never made a lot of the recipes because some of them were goofy.
Wonder where that cookbook is now, probably still in my footlocker at my parents house.

you're just tired, Gwena

For-Chan Cookie 09-05-2015 12:32 AM

I mean, there are desserts out there that involve pasts, but ramen dessert, no thanks.

That's the problem with those novelty cookbooks, they end up shoved on a shelf somewhere, forgotten.

hummy 09-05-2015 12:35 AM

i don't think i have ever had dessert pasta

Work does that to us all eventually.
If it doesn't then your co-workers will make you crazy.
Today I had to work beside one of the crazier ones, most of the time I think he is off his rocker.
Today he got to talking about television show about a moss man or something like that, had no idea what he was talking about, then he started talking about hating silly stuff.
One lady offered to get him a Jeff Dunham dvd to see something really funny, but he doesn't like comedians.
By the time he was leaving the office he was talking about getting some puppets & using them for target practice.
He never sees the good in the world & tries to bring other people down.
Last weekend he had one of the fill-in people telling him he needed help.
The fill-in is our happy sunshine & daisy girl. She is always trying to bring joy to others.
I told both of them that when life gave them lemons, she tried to make the best tasting lemonade ever & he just ate the sour lemons pith & all.
Not sure why someone wants to be like that.
Never real sure with him if he just likes trying to irritate others or if he really believes the crap he spews.

For-Chan Cookie 09-05-2015 12:49 AM

Ok, what do we think about this one?

We have a guy who works 3rd shift grocery that can be weird and grumpy/sour o.o heh, sounds like me :P I try to brighten my coworkers lives by giving them cookies and candy (but I tend to express appreciation of people through giving lol its my thing). I don't like seeing people unhappy, I try make people smile whenever I can - doesn't always work though.

Their really need to be more "sunshine" people in the world [yes] and I personally like lemons - I'm the type that adds little or no sugar to lemonade and calls it good [lol] (my sister thinks I'm weird).

On an unrelated note, one of the new baggers at work (less than a month workin there) his pants were unzipped o.o I thought about telling him but I had no idea how bring that up lol (I can't believe he never even noticed o.o)

Kirin Rosenbaum 09-05-2015 12:51 AM

Hello thread. I hope you all had a great event.

hummy 09-05-2015 12:57 AM

hiya, Kirin
i hope your day was easier than
yesterday for you

For-Chan Cookie 09-05-2015 12:59 AM

I had enough trouble just keeping posting. I couldn't have done anything other than just keep swimming. Plus, I can't actually draw or anything. I just arrange things prettily on banners :)

It was busy from shortly after I got to work till I left. I didn't think I was ever going to get my cleaning and stocking done.

You're banners are gorgeous. How much would it cost to get one for my thread?
